Agreed. He himself actually enjoys jokes at his expense, the problem is the side that wants to skewer him don't want to be skewered in return. And Trump has some absolutely savage comebacks that approach career ending level.

His jokes are harmless and you just know that they are made in jest and on brand. Also, Gyle seems to be on the conservative side of things himself and most of his jokes are about commies and socialists. As a left leaning guy myself I don't mind these jokes either. Ok, deep down it bugs me why the heck he thinks Cybrans are socialist but the heck with that - "He misclicked and went Cybran" never gets old :) Also, Gyle does a good job acknowledging things even if they are from the "wrong" side, for example if a Cybran ACU goes Lasercom in a "manly way" (frontal assault instead of telesnipe) he pays respect like he would to to a comdrop.

Hi Gyle just a couple keywords for great audio are: Normalize and Compression. These, especially compression, can help your audio be clear and easy to hear, without just cranking the volume up which can cause clipping(distortion). When he tried to go T3 air I said to myself "that is a mistake, why don't you got T2 navy instead?". It's faster and less resource demanding. Also, with ASFs it still needs time to get a critical amount of them. With Cruisers you can just wail away, nothing can stop them since Junzou has no navy and his inties and Swiftwinds can't hit back. T2 gunships don't last long against cruisers either. And if he switches to Torp bombers he'll be on a losing path, too. And when you finally got your ass covered, cruisers don't stop being useful, that Siren main gun has an enormous range and can bombard the shore and I guess at least half of the main base. All he had to do is switch to cruisers and park his Com in the ocean. He might have lost his main island but he also won the other main island and would get the entire sea. It's Junzou who would need to go T3 air then but it would probably be too late.

Gyle, in Junzou the second "u" is silent, it basicaly puts an emphasis on the "o" . Oh there's a door with a sign that reads, "Smart Asses exit here" - well I see myself out then....

What a great fight by both; was nail-bitingly close until the end. Could have gone either way.

There was a big difference in comm positioning. The red player relied on his com to secure his entire landmass, including the areas far from the beach. He was lured into a false sense of security, and into a bad position by a steady stream of blaze attacks. The blue player was relatively passive, always retreating the moment things went wrong. He was also very careful to be near water whenever land battles started to go wrong, and never over committed to attacking the enemy land base. Yes, things could have gone either way, but things were definitely in blue's favor in terms of comm snipeability.

Thanks again for another cast Gyle! Honestly quite a strange game this one, it felt like it took a while for both of them to get going and they didn't entirely seem sure as to what to do? I dunno, perhaps thats just me!

I guess that's because the map has so many theatres of war and not much resources to support them all. They were both fighting on both continents, both needed to cover the sea and since Junzou went T2 air, Slavenoob had to cover that as well. This was an adaptive map, lacking the extra starting locations of the missing players, so it has less mass points than other maps, and half of them are covered by water. They also need early transports to get anywhere and any engie or transport killed early on means extra delay.

I'm very far from pro or even semi pro but to me on maps like this if you are gonna go heavy navy then you need the air to defend at which point you might as well go almost full air with only a little navy when resources can be spared.

Cruisers defend against air. The map isn't big, a few cruisers can cover half the map. He should have gone t2 navy instead of t3 air, that's all.
