Hola de nuevo, saludos cordiales desde España. Desde luego parece ser que funciona bastante bien reduciendo la temperatura , lo que no se aprecia es el ruido que hace el ventilador , si llega a ser molesto o no. Quería comentarte que se han eliminado los comentarios que hice de un video anterior el del G5, donde te contaba mi experiencia con un equipo muy parecido , no se si eran demasiado largos o que pudo ser.

Hola José, ¿cómo estás? El ventilador Orange pi 5 es apenas audible en su configuración más alta. En cuanto al video G5, ciertamente no eliminé nada ni vi tu comentario. no se que pudo haber pasado? ¡Ciertamente me encantaría escuchar sobre su historia G5! Publique en ese video y veamos si pasa. Puedo decirte una cosa, los ventiladores del G5 suenan como turbinas a reacción a veces jajaja :(

Wow so the CPU dropped 30C+ in temps? That is a great change! Sure, it could be designed to work with those temps, but there are people with really hot ambient temps which would raise those CPU temps even higher. The chips you removed the heatsinks from which the new heatsink don't seem to have contact with, wouldn't those chips get a little warmer now?

Hi! Yeah, it used to peak at 89c... It's too dam hot.. had thermal throttling under high loads. Those were sinks on the ram chips, I believe. And they might get hotter now, but I'm not sure how to monitor them aside from a thermal imager?

Its been a year since im using this. If i want to change the thermal pad. What sugestion fot the thermal pad. 2mm or 3mm thickness?

@xsetiadi Hi there good question. I realy can't say to be honest. Depends on the clearance between the chips and hestsink. To big of a gap and not thick enough pad and it won't bridge the gap and transfer heat.. might have to get a few of each thickness and see what Temps you get with both. Might need thicker ones on memory and smaller on cpu or vise versa.

@@RememberThisTech i see some people on amazon combine copper plate 15x15 or 20x20 with thickness 1-1.5mm and they get very good result.

@@RememberThisTech i try to buy 15x15 copper plate with 1.5mm thickness. and also try with cheap thermal paste. when the result better than standard thermal pad, maybe I will buy thermal grizzly kyronaut. since I need to change my computer thermal pasta too.
