I personally get sick and tired of seeing Incredibly talented Championship Wrestlers such as Nick Bockwinkel being overlooked... time after time after time after time!!! Nick Bockwinkel held the Heavyweight Championship Belt for many years as a Wrestler, and he should be named as one of the All-Time Greats. Is he named as such? No! Why couldn't Ric Flair and Nick Bockwinkel work together in the same group? The answer is simple:Ego! Both of these legends were full of ego, and they couldn't stand each other. When you think about it both Nick & Ric had similar "characters" the I am BETTER than you type, but while growing up I loved Flair I actually think Nick pulls it off so much better. He was more articulate & rarely ever resorted to shouting which comes across as better than you persona. When you resort to the yelling and screaming that Flair used to do it showed you he was getting flustered. Nick never got flustered to the point of screaming.

Bockwinkel was, in real life, a very articulate individual with wonderful command of the english language. He was exceptionally intelligent, and no one in the sport could hold a candle to him when it came to expressing yourself. It's a bit of a shame, given his chosen profession, that these qualities pretty much forced him to come off as a snob. Check out some of the interviews of him "out of character". Very impressive stuff.
