Hi Sureena, I'm finding your video series going through the BNF super helpful at this stage, especially as I learn better through listening. I just wish I found out about you during June time. :/ I do have a question though. For discontinuing Tetracycline due to headaches and visual disturbances, the BNF says (and) whereas you've said (or). So is either of the side effects enough to discontinue or do we need both of the side effects together? It might seem nitpicky, but in the spirit of the statement of looking out for details, I think I'd better clarify it. Thank you for taking your time.

Hi Sureena, Thank you so much for the video. It's made it easier for me to learn chapter 5 of BNF. May I ask you a question? On this video (Helminth infection) you mentioned that mebendazole is drug of choice for Tx of threadworm and can be used for over 2 years old, but BNF 72 page 547 says patients of all ages over 6 months. Could you please clarify this? Cheers ^_^

Hiya! So over the counter mebendazole isn't licensed for children under 2 years old so we can only sell it to all those over 2 - however on prescription a GP for example can prescribe it for under 2 years old. Hope that helps :)
