Surefire Sidekick 300 Lumen Keychain Light Review

I’ve owned this light for 3 years and it still performs like the day I received it, the light is a wide flood, battery life is very good its been on my keychain all this time and now its half price making it a fabulous value!

The Sidekick is a 300 Lumen keychain light from SureFire. It is just as bright as their Titan Plus flashlight, however instead of 1xAAA, it has an internal battery that is USB rechargeable and comes with a USB to Micro USB cable for that purpose.

The great thing about the key chain light is your more likely to have it when you really need it. Nice light but my spy titanium bang for buck would be my choice. Every time I use it I find myself smiling with amazement. Thanks again!

It looks okay but for the high price, SF could have added a strobe & maybe a red/green low light feature. Some professional users or CCW/defense owners might want the choices. Overall, not bad.

+PowerMadHeadBanger I believe that is what is called the PWM effect, it is real, and most visible on low modes usually.

I would recomend an opinel in stainless steel if you want something more old school and less threatening. If you want modern folders the spyderco tenacious and ontario rat series are still solid knives for the money.

I like it but unfortunately it doesn't come with the superb lifetime Surefire warranty so i went with the titan plus.

+Blake Sexton my Nitecore mh20 and fenix uc35 just to name a couple that I've had for over a year that gets used daily still has its USB covers, and it's a very important factor for the water resistance.

Don't need 300 lumens on my Keychain, especially for 70 bucks. I have the nitecore tube, less than half the size, bright as hell and I think it was 9 bucks.
