I can make a new sorc RIGHT NOW, no twink gear, and steamroll the campaign and immediately start doing t15 maps with no prep time. Melee just sucks, stop being a loser. The fact that everyone is just logging out to avoid deaths tells me the system of losing the map on death is just pointless and bad. Loss of XP is already a penalty, but I guess people would do the same to avoid that. Might need to make it so that if you click logout in a map, it closes it if they want to keep that punishment.

Problem number 1 with Stampede, the targeting works like every other skill, so if you click on an enemy who has moved away from your cursor by the time it activates, your skill will follow the enemy, not where you're clicking. Problem number 2, you can't go through enemies or push them to the side, so you end up getting stuck in the middle of a long animation and die.

This game is like watching gambling videos and then heading to Vegas thinking you're gonna win it big. You watch your favorite streamer storming through levels with a wicked build on these high lights, getting awesome drops and having RNGesus on their side as they craft and upgrade gear... and then you hop in, die 30 times in the first half of act one, don't have ANY decent drops the whole time you're playing and anything you try to craft/upgrade either get's useless affixes or outlevels your character. Enjoy the struggle until you're able to get enough exalted orbs to buy decent gear cause it ain't dropping for ya.

The same thing happened in PoE1 when GGG balanced everything around the logout macro, which meant adding in oneshots and post-death effects at every opportunity they got. All it did was make the game even more unapproachable for newer players as they were being punished for other people abusing something that GGG was unable to address. GGG has always taken the nuclear approach when it comes to balancing.

I've compared the Streamer builds to community builds... the Streamer builds are suboptimal. They either lie to you they have a lot of health... when they just pick a ton of Attributes and Damage and have zero defences with their mods populated with tier 8+ Health and resistance mods. With zero magic find and zero Evasion/Armour. Yeah they two or three shot bosses, but their builds are janky, abuse the unbalanced aspects of PoE2 and they just straight up go splat if they get clipped by a mechanic or mistime a dodgeroll.

He’s using temporalis, the lightning bolts are from a unique ring that casts lightning bolt on critical strike. He casts spark with cast on dodge. So he blinks with temporalis, which casts spark, which hits the boss and crits, casting lightning bolt, which has a bugged interaction where its own crit will trigger itself

i have a 30div deadeye lightning strike my hp is 1800 i have 80% evasion with acrobatics i rarely die compared to witchhunter i did with better gear. sorc ward 60% armor and 60% evasion with 3.3k life. The reason is reload animation that gets canceled by cc and by dodge roll the problem is if i dont dodge roll i die if i dodge roll i cancel my reload i got the reload down to 0.5 on galvanic shards with fuck ton of attack speed nodes and jewels and of course reload speed anywhere i can get. The reload shouldnt get canceled buy freezed so i dont have to waste the time i already spent reloading just to start again. Also witchhunter must be the worst ascendancy and i already did 4 different classes

stampede is fine, it just works the way it works, takes like 5 minutes to learn how its pathing functions. walls bend your trajectory, enemies stop it if impassable and go through if there is a closeby gap.
