I remember I did the same on a beautiful spot lost in a difficult cliff in a carribean island (Guadeloupe) and that I climbed the cliff with two big garbage bag at the end of my fishing party! I was very discouraged when I went fishing in the Jersey Shores the morning after Memorial Day. Chopped up bunker left laying around. Empty beer bottles. Everywhere. Now I wish I'd done what you did instead of just getting angry. For my trip this week, I'm going to take trash bags and try to fill them up. Thanks for the constant inspiration, Rich. Great message in this video. It’s really amazing how much plastic accumulated on the beach and how little the state does to clean it up. It’s really up to everyone to chip in and make a difference. I’m from an island in Greece and the same happens on the beach in front of my home. These are pristine beaches and the locals really don’t care. It’s a world wide problem.

That's good carma for the fish gods. Here in South Jersey the #1 item strangely enough is tampons. For real. I've have never been able to pick one up, but I'm now gonna get some THICK gloves. Maybe I'll put them in a bowl and make a centerpiece for my table with them.🤣 Well done Rich!

Before they closed oyster creek power plant. The creek was a mess with trash guys would leave behind. Every time I left I would fill a bag of trash on the way out. Great video. Wish you didn't have to film your self picking garbage. We are leaving the world a mess in a hurry and it sucks.

Nice job Rich. I fish the North shore. Garbage there as well. Pack a bag myself. Question. I have the 8'8" too. Nice rod. I purchased the GSB Lamiglas 91LS the other day. I like the lite action. Most of the fish I catch are not keepers. Schoolie stripers and short fluke. I did manage to get 3 keeper fluke last week. 19,21&23. Will that Lamiglas be too lite if I hit the south shore and east end for larger fish? Thanks Rich!!
