Tim, I found your videos a few years ago mate when i started my surf journey. My friend and I have just arrived in Weligama from New Zealand. We are here for 2 weeks. Reading the comments below it appears you might not physically be with us anymore. All I can say is thank you for being a part of my life Tim. Sadly, It looks like this was the end of the line. I'd like nothing more to see a reply from Tim saying he's back and on the mend for one more round. But looking for info on where he is, comes up short. In an interview back in 2019, He said he had plans for the YT channel to grow bigger. Unfortunately it looks that wont happen, Not gonna lie. I felt a loss after getting used to hearing him teach in his videos. Coming back into surfing after a 20yr break, His guidance and practices have been a huge insight to where I was going wrong all those years ago. I was getting used to watching a video every night. May you ride the sky all day long mate. RIP Tim Jones.

Surfed that spot last weekend and yes its a bit tricky and i tried to figure out my way in and out watching other people but i didn’t see anyone go inside with fins up! wich is a great tip i will do it next time!

You forgot the technique where you use your surfboard as a barrier to stop your head getting slammed into the rocks. 😂 Yes, unfortunately I had to learn a lot of these lessons the hard way. I'm glad you're here to save more fortunate souls. 👍👏

Wicked video Tim! Made a similar mistake on llantwit Beach trying to head for the point had some nasty scratches 🤦‍♂️ put me off surfing over rocks and always used porthcawl instead! Trying to build confidence to surf over rocks again.

Hoy Tim I bought me some Kevlar sole bouts , always use them in Tenerife P De las americas , I also use DIY gloves to protect me for these sharp volcanic reefs . Even than I cut my hands a few weeks ago . The problem is that those algae get your hands infected for a long time . Top to see you strong .
