I love both groups. The Eastern European/ Balkan/ Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern/ Oriental surf and Finnish rautalanka elements were very strong in the Space Cossacks, so they hit totally different. Closer to folk. And that touches me. They even played songs as Metsakukkia. Aesthetics is always very humorous and very antisovietic, you may take or leave that one. The wordplay in their songs is fabulous. In the golden age of rock and roll, they would rule (though even then surf didn't go commercial). Anyway, surf is life! Bands like these are the most important because they keep great traditions alive.
