@@JoeG480 I was throwing a 1 1/2oz blue and silver Kastmaster. The perching was really slow which is why I thought there might be stripers chasing them off 🐟💨

if you cant find sand crab soft shell...Berk SAND WORM, you can buy them at your sports shop, Perch and Striped Bass seem to love it...

Soft shell sand crabs work great, but they are hard to find. Most of the time I use hard shell but if able to find soft shell those work better.
