How about wide area select - click and hold and move to the area you want to select, this is very important but missed out

For three fingers, I found using 1 finger from my left and 2 fingers from my right hand would be easier to switch between windows with the 1 finger on my left hand.

I'm having an issue when I left click normal click if you will it seems to double click and takes 2 times as long to open something

Does anyone know why mine does 80% of time right click even if I'm fully at the left side clicking? Like sometimes I don't move my finger and click on the same spot (left down) and it does 1 correct click then potentially 2 times in a row right click etc

I switched from Macbook to surface pro I have a big problem, the windows 10 doesn't support 3 finger drag and drop as Mac. If don't use a double-tap for multi-select on the default setting, could you have any suggestions to bring 3 fingers feature to surface pro. Thanks

Yes, this will work on any Surface laptop.

in my surface book 2 trackpad cursor and taping working fine but right/left bottom click not working. i just purchased certified on from Microsoft. any suggestion is it hardware issue or software?

Check the Touchpad settings in the settings app under devices first. You can disable the right click there. The make sure your device is up to date. Try also the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit if you get stuck.

@@oztabletpc surface pro 7 and the touchpad no longer clicks. The touch option still works for the most part but I can no long do thing like click and drag. It's a hardware issue and with the way the type covers are made, I don't think it can be fixed.

there is only one reason i cannot leave mac: windows trackpad is so inefficient you have to lift the finger everytime you click. anyone knows anything similar or better trackpad than mac pls comment

Interesting, similar problem with the Apple pencil. You have to lift a finger to click, releasing your leverage. Using my Surface Pro as an example, I do not have to lift / release the trackpad to lift, *provided* I click in the left bottom quadrant of the trackpad (It's actually more than the bottom right quadrant, but you get the point). The right bottom quadrant is a right click (not found on Mac), however you can turn that off in settings, making it a left click. On my Surface Pro there is about 1cm of area across the top where the physical click does not function without a lift - due to the physical click action. I suspect that that new Surface Laptop Studio has addressed this question with it's new haptic drive trackpad. No physical click action. It is not in Australia until next year, so can't tell you if it's different.

Missing. What do the sensitivity values mean? I want to Thwack the touchpad hard, before it acts. Now, just lightly brushing over it makes it active--most annoying.
