Oh Bonnie: You are so lovely and real that any way you appear is beautiful. Just a few years after my parents' deaths I was in the hospital for my first time ever surgery. So strongly I felt them both with me just before I was wheeled into the OR. Their comforting love is eternal. Also, giving to you is healing for your mil.

I had two skin cancers removed today and it made me think of you and wonder if you had yours done yet. One of mine was on the side of my nose and once the numbness wore off it was very painful. This is the second time I’ve had them on my nose. I also had one on my forearm removed today but it’s not hurting. My thoughts are with you and and I hope you make a speedy recovery. It’s not gross to see your lip but I am amazed at how swollen you are. I have not removed my dressings yet so I can’t see mine. I wear glasses and they sit right on my surgery site so I have had to go with out them. I will get my stitches removed next Monday and hopefully be back to normal. How wonderful that Julie came to visit with you. You have a really awesome family. 😊

I should know by now not to comment until the end of the vlog. I had to delete what I wrote. You are so vulnerable, honest and think of others before yourself. I am so sorry you have to go through this pain and awkwardness. Having something done on your face, especially close to all the nerves near your lip is painful! The swelling is bad but expected, not fun. Your family once again, is amazing and a true testament of love, amazing love. Your mother-in-law’s call left me speechless (hard to believe, I know), I’m a talker. I can tell how much you miss your mom right now and it feels so comforting to having your mom, no matter what age you are when your going through something like you are. I’m sorry she can’t be right next to you right now, giving you a big hug! So, here is a hug from an old almost 60 year old mom of 2. I hope you heal quickly and your pain lessens soon. I will be thinking of you often this week.

I have been fighting/LIVING with Kidney cancer since 2005. First found on the right kidney and had a total nephrectomy (kidney removal) and since then it has spread to different places and I have had many surgeries and now am 58 and will say that this type of cancer is very different. Everyone says how well I look, while I feel absolutely so unwell and weak. I am praying for your Mother in love and also your entire family. I pray that you are doing well and continue to make these awesome memories for you and yours ❤

It’s so hard going through anything and not having your Mum. I miss mine terribly. I had a baby 5 months ago, and I know my mum was there in spirit but I can never share my precious girl with her the way I shared my baby boy. I lost my mum 18 months ago and my heart aches knowing you need your mum and you can’t reach her :( you’re doing a great job Bonnie. It’s so good you have your mother in law so close by, when you get along well they are a blessing. Im very lucky to have my MIL just up the road from me. When my Mum was dying my husbands mum made sure to tell her she would always have my back and I can’t tel you how much that meant to both of us
