I'm coming back to this video from time to time. I love the vibe it has.

I’ve watched this video multiple times just because it is dope. More surly steamroller content.

All you need is a fixed gear. Great video, maybe one day I will get a frame to fit big tires.
@MrPijus1232 жыл бұрын
Look into old soviet road bikes. Not too hard to convert to a fixie and the frames can fit at least 35mm tyres.

I can't decide if I go for the steamroller or the skream Ranger for my bike build. I like the classy look of the steamroller tubing, but I also like the Ranger and its even bigger tire clearance. But the carbon fiber horror story's about it just failing without showing weakness before freak me out a bit 😂.
@DenisChenchik2 жыл бұрын
Depends on your riding style. If you will crash a lot and don’t want to focus too much on maintenance, then steamroller would be a better option. Carbon forks are strong. The only thing that fails is steerer. If you have worn out headset, it can damage it. Steel or alloy steerer is a bit more bulletproof
@Messerjocke902 жыл бұрын
@@DenisChenchik thank you! I will most likely for a steel bike now. Steamroller is still a option, but I got an eye on the new Mash frames as well, but they are pricey
@DenisChenchik2 жыл бұрын
@@Messerjocke90 squid so-ez is also a great option. And santafixie born. Around 500€ for a complete bike

@@DenisChenchik I ride a unknown sc-1 as my first fixed. I actually aimed at a higher price for my next frame just to get some bling 🤣👍
@Messerjocke902 жыл бұрын
@@DenisChenchik sorry I've seen that squid bikes aren't that cheap at all XD. But the bike is sold out. There was a sweet looking copper frame. But I think I settle on the black steamroller, get a super toughness chain and maybe some purple accents here and there like a purple top cap.

@bikesandcalories83803 жыл бұрын
I saw someone on instagram who use 42c on his Steamroller, but I read some forum about steamroller and they said it even fit maximum of 45c. Im planning to upgrade on 42c, buying 45c might be risky since i have a 23mm outer diameter rims.
