The boats are anchored(moored) the tender is a boat that takes you from shore to your boat, the boats are kept in the water so you don't have to launch everytime you go out , if you can lobster. should be had everyday.

Hey Granger! Those boats out there; they are lobster boats. You take a row boat out to them and get in them to go lobstering. My dad’s been a Maine lobsterman for over 35+ years. Also, you were amazing in Maine last weekend!

Granger, next summer you’ll have to come back and bring the kiddos “mucking”!! A New England beach town tradition where you go and play in the mud of the marshes at low tide then run and rinse off in the ocean!! We used to get the entire street of kids to do it growing up at our summer house in Maine..so fun!

Welcome to NH. Those are moorings and those are mostly Lobster and small fishing boats. They moor them out there like that because when the tide goes out everything along the shoreline turns into smelly marshy mud, no water. So they moor them out in the deeper water and use a tiny skiff or dory style boat to row/motor back and forth to the bigger boat. They then clip the skiff to the mooring and head out to sea. No big deal if your skiff sits on the muddy shore for low tide, But can be an issue for the bigger more expensive boats. I wish i could have seen the show but had to work unfortunately. I love in New Hampshire about 30 minutes from where you performed and totally would of loved to see you perform but my husband had a military event so we couldn't go. I was so bummed! But so glad the kids have you guys back! They are so giggly and happy to have their dad home!

My cousin was in the Military and we grew up really close however he is about ten years older than me. So when he initially enlisted I was only 8-8.5! And that was the first summer I wouldn't be able to see him as he went straight to bootcamp after high school. I was so glad to see him graduate and then come home on his 10 days of leave after that. After that he got deployed and I would see him less and less but every time he came home it was the greatest feeling ever to me.

Those boats are moored, basically anchored out in the water and you use a tender, or basically a small inflatable dingy which is muuuuch easier to transport than a big boat, and you use the tender to take you from shore to you’re moored boat

Oh my gosh I’m dead about the boats hahaha that’s a normal thing here in New England-they are on buoys and that’s where the people keep their boats. You get to it either on a row boat or someone else brings you to it on their boat.
