Okay just saying that 2M is adorable and he will be remembered of Cricket picks him or not. I do feel like she wasn’t really thinking about having a mate or pups but just mostly wanting to hunt her beavers and have a good time and he showed up from nowhere and spooked her a bit but she was warming up to him a bit. Perhaps he was going to look for beavers himself and caught up on her beaver’s scent and followed it and found a sleeping beauty as well and was struck with love at first sight. Or he just is happy to have seen a wolf who is a possible good friend to him.

Junction Butte 2M was a mate to one of my wolves, I had named him Riot! He's definitely an outgoing guy, and a great dad 👍

Awww oh my gosh! Cricket’s story keeps getting deeper and deeper and I live for it!😂 there is this story called “Sign of the Beaver” featuring a beaver named “Diver” and I think the name Diver would be so cute for a potential mate of hers! 😄

I think Cricket should take Junction Butte 2M as her mate. He seems sweet, AND also, Junction Butte is a pack that's also found in Slough Creek, so maybe her pups would be safer from that pack if a Junction Butte wolf was her mate? (In the story that is, haha, I'm not sure it would be like that in actual gameplay...)
