About the RV. Rent one first for several trips before you decide! I bought one, totally wish I would have rented first because I wouldn't have bought one and just rented places when traveling. What no one tells you about RVs is that when you move them, something will break. When you use them, something will break. Something will always break. They are a lot of maintenance, and they are expensive because it is a novelty item and they can be expensive just because they can. When you're a family of many, one more thing to maintain is a big deal and it's nice to use something to travel and then walk away from it not at all having to keep up on repairs.

We LOVE our motorhome. If you dont want to camp you can always stay in a trailer park when you travel. That works great and we have found 99%of trailer parks have atleast a few RV hook ups.

You will love having an RV. It is work with kids but all vacations are work with kids lol. Pulling one isn't a big deal. It just follows you down the road. You'll make wonderful memories.

We are living in it full time for a couple of years until my husband retires from the military. We have had some awesome adventures. I get motion sickness on local drives,but long drives are not bad,as long as I relax. The longer the trip,I usually have to take something to be sure not to have nausea,also enjoy the scenes, and company. Air travel is the best for me,but I love looking at homes,landscapes etc. Seeing this is relaxing. That's my type of weather,from my birth country(like Kenya). When visiting the Caribbean,I prefer to be in the hills(beautiful scenery and weather)even when it rains. Congrats to Mr.Solo's brother and family.

We live in northern Indiana where most RV factories are. My husband and boys work for these factories and they are so busy they can't keep up. People are buying them to travel, sight seeing, and camping😊
