Our video "Surprising! Avoid These 6 Foods That Can Destroy Your Kidneys Fast" sheds light on six common foods that can harm your kidneys and even cause kidney stones.
References supporting our claims in this video: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Every day, millions of people consume these foods without being aware of their potential risks. Are you one of them?
Regular consumption of these foods can lead to kidney disease, a condition that often progresses without noticeable symptoms until it reaches an advanced stage, requiring dialysis or kidney transplant to survive. What's more alarming is that kidney damage is often irreversible!
Therefore, it's crucial to avoid these foods before they destroy your kidneys:
1:30 Food 6
3:33 Food 5
4:52 Food 4
6:23 Food 3
7:26 Food 2

Don't worry, this isn't a real human. If you don't have kidney problems you can/should ignore this blarney. The RDA for potassium is 3700mg, unless you have kidney disease.
@Robinsnest219
@Robinsnest219 2 ай бұрын
We need 4700 mgs of potassium per day. And nobody on earth gets that amount unless yhey eat 7-8 cups of greens/salad per day and most people don't do that. What we should be asking though, is why can we not get more than 99 mg of potassium in a supplement? We need it for heart health and so much more! But that's another topic. This video is wrong on so many points. @@cherylcastillo7020

Here’s the testimony of some one fighting back and reversing kidney disease. 33 yrs old. Stage 4 CKD. I was told there is no way to reverse this. My nephrologist informed me on 2/15/24 that my GFR was 17%. I was then scheduled for dialysis class. That same day I removed all meat from my diet and had very little dairy. I completed blood work on 2/27/24. At my next appointment 2/29/24 my GFR was 22%. SWITCHING WORKED!!! I refused to accept dialysis as a condition for me. I knew that there had to be something I could do. I'm thankful that I had enough time to figure out alternatives. 22% is better but still obviously dangerously low. If you're reading this and still have time, CHANGE YOUR LIFE! SAVE YOUR LIFE! No one can save you but you! I don't know you but I am rooting for

He says a cup of prunes (dried plums) have 1,270 mg of potassium, which is half the daily allowance. But the daily allowance - at least for men - is 4,700 mg. So we‘re talking 27%, a far cry from half. . Also, potassium is important to balance sodium intake. He doesn’t address the sodium/potassium ratio and how it works, at all. . You want to save your kidneys? Lay off the ibuprofen (eg, Advil). I have a younger relative who’d be dead today except his mother sacrificed a kidney for him. He’d wrecked his kidneys with too much ibuprofen.

Our main message is simple: Moderation is key! However, if your kidneys aren't healthy, certain foods might be riskier due to their high levels of oxalate, potassium, sodium, and phosphorus. When your kidneys are healthy, you can still enjoy these foods, but be mindful not to overeat them, as it could strain your kidneys more!

Spinach should only be eaten three times a week. As with beetroot and sweet potatoes, Eating a varied diet is the key. Certain foods can be eaten everyday such as onion, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage and garlic. Eat a varied diet with different greens, yellows and starches. Protein can be eaten everyday in small amounts. People eat rice everyday in Asia, the arsenic is nonsense. Butter is essential for the body, animal fat is necessary for the human body.

Appreciate you taking the time to watch the video! Just a quick correction: at 04:04, we mentioned a length of 5 inches instead of 5 feet. Really appreciate you catching that, and we'll make sure to do better in our future content.

This video is for those who already have kidney problems. If you have healthy kidneys you need potassium to lower your blood pressure to prevent kidney failure. Potassium is an antidote to salt. If you eat potassium rich foods your kidneys will definitely filter the excess potassium.

Sweet potatoes? High in potassium? About 98% of all adults in the United States are not meeting the daily intake recommendations. Fact. Even though there isn’t an RDA for potassium, organizations worldwide have recommended consuming at least 3,500 mg per day through food. Fact. A baked sweet potato has about 475mg of potassium. I think I'd be more worried about how I was gonna get the other 3,025mg of potassium every day after eating a baked potato.
