Nice work my guy! That spot at DMC always produces something. Short walk to the gates is super nice. I caught my one and only DMC keeper on the opposite side.

So what's the consensus on the fish consumption advisories related to methyl mercury and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBS)? In my humble opinion, I would keep the smallest bass possible as the latter has less exposure to contaminants, but I could be wrong. Anyone have knowledge on contaminant testing done at Delta Mendota Canal?

Honestly I can’t answer the question because I don’t have any credentials in that field but personally I don’t eat much fish from the Delta Mendota Canal. I’m sure as long as you eat in moderation you’ll be fine.

Awsome video. But pick up a mid diving crank bait and get below the smalls or get a deep diving crank and run the bottom. Youre bigger fish run under the small fish most of the time on stripers or thats how it works most places ive fished for them.

Hey bro, great video! Bite has been slow there lately on the duct. Feels like they have moved south. I've done better at the DMC also. Do you use a medium heavy rod for jerk baits? Curious what rod your using for jerk baits.
