So lovely Markus. I have to say also that your intros are fab. I am going through your videos to get ideas of. how to start off my videos. I always start with "do you ...?" and I want to mix it up.

Thank you again for making your first video that inspired me to do something I hadn't done in a long time. I was truly beating myself up every time I would look at my bike. The thing that brought me so much joy was making me feel bad for not doing it. That permeated into the rest of my life. I know I have talked about my KZbin channel where I interview Pro's and Joe's about themselves and their love for mountain biking. I posted videos, and then I stopped even though I had interviews recorded. I got frustrated when the people I asked to interview would be too busy to be interviewed. I would get on myself for that. I'd keep in touch so that I could possibly get them to do it. I still didn't edit the videos that were recorded. A vicious circle. I had been thinking prior to seeing your video that I needed to get moving. Not just moving by walking, riding my bike, but getting back to what gave me joy. Prior to Covid I was living by the motto "Live Life with the 3 F's: Friends, Family, and Fun" and it was amazing. So happy and joyful. That Covid thing did a number on me. I want to get back to myself again. Your video came at the right time. I saw it on Monday, and decided I wanted to mirror you. So I rode for the first time since October of last year. The only ride I did last year. It was the worst mountain bike ride I had been on. I had no strength to deal with all the rocks and no stamina to even go very far. I hated it. Last week I did 4 rides. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday a big one. I had rest on Friday because my butt hurt from my seat. Saturday I rode, and Sunday was too hot and humid. Second week started yesterday and we had hot and humid conditions. So I set my bike up on my trainer and rode again. I know this is going on for a long time, but I just wanted to thank you!! I need to figure out a way to document what I am doing. The road rides are not that interesting and there is more huffing and puffing than anything. I am not sure how to film it. I have GoPro's, but the latest version I have it the GoPro Hero 8 Black. I have a wireless mic, but I don't have the cash to get the Media Mod to enable me to use the wireless mic. I have my phone that I used to send my video to you. I will figure something out. All the best, BostonDon

Thank you so much, this means a lot to me! Do you have something to mount the camera? Just use what you have. You can film on the bike and then record some voiceover. Or you place the camera somewhere and drive by. Just create and keep moving 🎉🎉🎉

Hello Markus. I randomly came across your video. Keep it up man, walking is the best activity and it's good for the mind as well! Thanks for taking "us" along! :) This year I started walking a lot as well, at least 10,000 steps a day. It's been transformative for me, both physical and mentally. If I may be so brash may I recommend investing in some good fitting walking/hiking shoes? Based on my own experience to prevent future discouragement from things like blisters or sore toes. I use 'Columbia Woodburn II' myself (without breaking the bank) but any reputable brand will do as long as the fit is not too small and not too large. GOOD LUCK and keep walking! You can do it! :D Greetings from the Netherlands!
