Finally something a lefty can use from your channel! Lol. Best memory is the very first 8 iron I ever hit perfectly. Next to a pond with a alligator on Marine Corps Base Camp LeJuene, Gold course. Walking a late round after work, has been playing for about 2 years, and never felt a fully compressed iron shot until then. 160 back pin, ball slightly above my feet which were really close to the alligator who had slipped back under the water. It felt like butter, high drawing from the middle to roll right into the hole. That was in 1992 and I started with golfing fever in 1990 on Marine Corps Base Quantico Virginia. A few years and a few combat tours, and still playing weekly since retiring from active duty in 2006. Keep up the great content, Love Ash’s smile and perky attitude. God couldn’t have created a more perfect couple to watch KZbin golf content.

Love this stuff. Glad to see your viewers growing. I'll take myself out of the running for the contest, but I hooked a shot on a par 3 into the creek. Pissed off, teed it up again and holed it for a Par In 3. Random guy I was playing with said "I won't say anything, if you don't say anything. That's a hole in one." Nope. Already had one at the point. It's still the better story than my actual hole in one.

Love watching y'all's videos, and love your sweet relationship. My best golf story happened over 50 years ago on a little pitch-n-putt course in Phoenix. I was 10 years old and it was my first time playing golf. I don't think I even waited for my Dad to finish paying when I stepped up on the first tee box...a 55-yard hole if memory serves me. I hit either a 5 or 3-iron and never got it airborne...it just rolled and bounced its way onto the green, hit the pin and dropped in for my first, and still only, hole-in-one! Par, I believe was under 60 for the course, and I think I was close to 120...with an ace! I'll never forget it. I love the game, and have improved immensely since then, but I'm still very average. Love the content. My most interesting round was on a lighted course at night. The lights picked up the tees and dance floors...but it was dark between. You'd tee off, watch the ball disappear in the darkness, and (hopefully) re-appear on its way to the green.

@@StackedGolf we do something cool like that up here im Massachusetts at Blissful Meadows Golf Club. 6 hole scramble course is lite up with glow sticks and lights and use glow balls. Awesome time honestly. Not sure when this year but if your up visiting family in Connecticut Ashley and you should check it out.

Congrats on getting your dream clubs Jon, nice little surprise from Ashley 😉 In terms of the rangefinder comp - couple of years ago I managed to hook a hybrid onto clubhouse roof. My ball rolled down the roof up to the lateral guttering bouncing over the members who were sat on on the patio below, and off the top of the short boundary wall and onto the adjacent putting green. Finally rolling unbelievably into one of the holes, to much raucous laughter. Had to do the walk of shame - but a tale I can now use at parties!! Keep up the good work - some of the best golf KZbin content out there 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I really enjoy your videos. They inspired me during the shut-down to go play golf again. I started buying clubs from Goodwills, yard sales, and facebook marketplace deals then sell them to pay for my golfing outings. I put together a set of different irons so that none matched. I went out and shot the best round of golf I had ever played. Thanks for the videos and the knowledge.

Another great video, my best golfing memory was winning a monthly medal and board comp at my club, I started, bogey, triple bogey, bogey, bogey, then pared the next 14 to shoot a 78… my one and only time in the 70’s. Keep up they great work and posting the vids.

What a fun video! Way to go Ash! My most memorable golf was playing in Destin on vacation and one of those freak rain events pounded us on the course. We are not quitters so we played on. We were soaked and I was hitting a fairway shot when my glove was so wet my club went farther then my ball. My brother in law was laughing so hard he about fell out of the cart. Good Times! Lol!!

Great content, ya'll deserve the love from fans. I have the Nike VR Pro blades, I bought off a ole touring pro who was getting rid of some sets back when I lived in Florida. Still can't hit them to this day but I also love the Nike stuff and am a fan. Hope those irons treat you well! Thanks for the entertainment.

Great job Ashley, finding those Vapor Nike's for Jon. With all the bags you own can't believe you don't have a Nike to put them in. I've had a few "amazing" shots (accidentally, of course) but one I recall was at Legends in Nashville where I hit a stinger over water and it was so low it skipped and then rolled right up onto the green. Couldn't do it again if I had to. Love the channel....

Been subscribed for quite a while....liked the video...never made a hole-in-one, but my favorite, and luckiest hole out from a green side bunker was beyond lucky! I flew my 2nd shot into the back bunker...a grass bunker! The pin was set all the way in the front of the green...and I was at least 40 yards to the pin...which meant I had to get my ball up and over a 6 to 7 foot mound and pray the ball didn't roll off the green! So...I used my gap wedge and the ball and it hopped twice, rolled up the mound, and yeah...rolled straight in the hole! Jon...hope you enjoy those Nike irons!

Love the videos- great to see ya out playing again. Most interesting (and Best round) I think that I ever played was in Puerto Rico 4 months after open heart surgery, had been cleared by Dr. to resume playing and wife and I went on vacation to celebrate the healing. It seemed like that I could not hit a bad shot! Ended up shooting a 78- usually shoot around 90! What a great day P.S. Golf wise- things have gone down hill from there!! BUT- health is still great!

GREAT VIDEO! So there was this one time I was on a tough par 4 at Wild Willie's Wacky World Miniature Golf with the whole family. I needed 2 under to destroy the dreams of my kids and keep reigning supreme (at least in my mind). I read the astro turf greens and wacked away. The ball rounded the tight corner, over the bridge with the rushing water below, through the castle door, but bounced off the standing knights foot. Just when I thought all hope was lost, it was redirected off a fallen leaf and slow (very painfully slow) rolled in for a hole in one. My family all cried and contemplated their lives, and to rub salt in their wounds, due to the hole in one, I got a free round on the house from Willie himself. Thanks Willie, I get to come back and destroy all thoughts of a hostile family takeover another day!

Best round ever was a 74 last summer, but it started with standing water on the 2nd green that stopped my ball from zooming across the green. I took relief and made a birdie. From then on it was the best round of my life. Thank you standing water! You all are wonderful and I enjoying watching you two every week.

As we come into our winter, I'm loving your content and really need a Rangefinder!! My tale of bad golf good score is after years of hitting driver to a short par 4 then skulling my 25m approach...I finally decided to hit my Nike CPR 24* Hybrid as a lay up that should give me a full PW in. Promptly shanked my tee shot into the pines for a lucky ricochet into a slight ditch still 180m away from green and couldn't see the pin. Took the same Nike CPR. Didn't flush it, carved a cut that bounced out of the bunker, popped up onto the green and into the hole. A fellow member applauded from an adjoining tee..and then sledged me when he discovered how far away I was. Fair game....but a 2 is a 2. 😂 Thanks again for your fun and interesting content. Go Nike. Shortly after I first started playing golf I was setting up for my approach shot at about 30 yards to the pin, was playing with my grandmother at the time. I hit the shot and both of us thought I hit it too hard, slam dunked it for my first par ever and was hooked ever since. Love your vids, very jealous we don't have golf community garage sales in my country like you do yours, its satisfying to see what you find. Good work, keep it coming.

Love those Irons and hell of a deal, keep up the great works guys.. the most interesting and funny golf shot I've ever made was... I had 108 yards to the green on a par 5 and a bunch of geese where on the green and on my way, they would not move at all even after my buddy tried to scare the away, so I decided to go for it, used my gap and hot a beauty of a shot, nice and high. Well it hit the back of the geese and bounced off and rolled 3 inches from the whole setting me up for a birdie, we were laughing so hard 😂. Oh, the geese was fine and flew away.. 😆 a great memory that will last a lifetime

You guys are the best. My most interesting shot ever in golf was when I skipped one off the water on a 156 yard par 3, it hit a rock waterfall in front of the green, and jumped up to 2 feet. I almost holed it! Then I missed the putt in typical Fashion lol would love the range finder so I know how far to skip the ball to the hole

Best shot I ever had happened about 15 years ago. It was my first year as a caddie, and the course I worked at at the time would allow us to play for free on Monday afternoon if we worked both weekend mornings (how could anyone say no to that). Anywho, I'm by myself, playing the par 3 16th. It's about 160 yards, but plays like 135 (goes downhill at about a 40 degree angle). It looks over the hills of Cincinnati, OH and Interstate 71. Pretty nice scenery. I hit my 4 hybrid (I was 14, and didn't hit it as far as I do now), hit a buttery left handed fade, lands on the left side of the green, takes the slope towards the hole, ALMOST MAKES A HOLE IN ONE, but rolls by the pin to about 4 feet (obviously made the putt for birdie). Haven't had a great shot like that since ... Love your channel, and keep up the great work! Maybe do a vacation thrifting video to see if other parts of the country have amazing deals?

My most recent highlight in golf came last year during a scramble when I hit a hole in one at Maywood number 5 . In my hometown. I obviously won closet to the hole . It felt good to sign the card by the green , hole in one ! I got a free round of golf . Guys with me were stoked . Still talk about it . Keep up the good work . Those Nikes are sweet !

Love the content. My most interesting round is every time I play Riverside in BC. The par 3 15th, I’ve literally surrounded the hole and am within inches of a hole in one every single time. It’s wild. Maybe some day I’ll get that elusive hole in one.
