What I like best about your tutorials are that you explain what you're doing so well, and you don't drone on and on about other stuff like some artist tutorials do. I have seen some great tutorials by other artists, but I don't do them because I get tired of listening to them talk and talk about things that have nothing to do with the task at hand. Surreal - Yes... but such a wonderful combination of fluffiness, strenght and brightness Jane, that I watched your video a couple of times. Great Idea and really really well done. By the way.... Dear Jane, I always felt like I had no ability to paint or be artistic unless I was doing splatter paint. Fabulous Jane! I use gold leaf (& silver leaf & copper leaf) sheets a lot in craft & DIY projects. I love how Klimt used it in his art & have been looking for an art project to use it on canvas. Guess I'll have to get over my fear of clouds, now! lol - My tips for the easiest way to use leaf; Apply the size (just runny white glue) & wait for it to go tacky, lightly apply leaf with brush, allow to dry, brush off excess with soft brush, seal to avoid oxidation. - Easy :) ... Thanks heaps.
