It’s good that I searched before suggesting this song. Nicely done! Having served in the Army for 7 years, it’s wild to me that the Women’s Auxiliary Corps (the WAC mentioned in the song) was a thing. And a fun fact: I remember reading that the line was originally “I had heard the WAC recruited old maids, dykes and whores” but the record company nixed that shit.😂
