Thanks Malc, I appreciate it brotha. With this and the survival shelter over the past few weeks, iv got one arm like Popeye now haha. It did well. Became a little more powerful since its fully dried out. Haha I curse quiet a bit outside of my videos, but I go as far as watering down words like shit on my channel. All my videos are being slowly demonitizied and age restricted now, so I suppose me holding my tongue doesn't matter any more. Thanks for watching and take care bro

Hi Andy, Gunn Clan member here, love the survival videos! Just happened to find your channel while surfing through KZbin looking at Covid-19 updates. My family and I live in the Philippines and have jungle all around us so everything you are teaching is possible because we have instant access to all the raw materials. Especially bamboo! I was born in the US but have made a trip to the Highlands of Scotland and Inverness during the winter, Loch Ness and Hagus...Cheers Mate! Fred Gunn

Andy - You could have made the newer version an hour longer and I'd watch every minute . Just my opinion -> You have an excellent speaking voice and very concise and clear on all details . Videography is EXCELLENT . You should be on television / History Channel / Discovery etc. You would be fantastic at replacing all the rot on television these days and viewers would actually learn something . Keep up the great work Clan Gunn Bushcraft and All the best .

Hi Andy, I though YT had censored you there. I didn't even get to read your complete reply to my comment but got the jist of it. Thanks for this. I am definitely going to give it a go - crossbow as opposed to survival bow to start with. As you said not such a high skill level required to get accuracy with cross bow. Thanks again, Andy
@ClanGunnBushcraft6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andy. No, just a few key bits missing like, bolt tips etc. Thank you for both messages. It was you comment on my bow and arrow video that gave me the idea to add the advantages the crossbow has over a Long bow. I'm not particularly skilled with shooting a bow, so an xbow would be my first choice. Very simular to shooting a rifle. Thats awesome! Let me know how it goes and take care brotha

@@ClanGunnBushcraft Hey Andy, All is well here. It's been a bitterly cold winter here with lots of snow, so I haven't gone out side much accept to do chores. Even the squirrels made themselves scarce this winter. Maybe I should make a video of the icy mess we have here. My neighbors roof looks like a glacier, and everyone has up to 8 foot icicles hanging off of their eaves. :/ I can't tell you any stories about shooting pheasants with rifles because it's illegal here to do that. ;) Thanks for the reply Andy! My father fought the red commies in Vietnam. He is still alive & lives next door to me, thanks be to God. He tells us that he saw crossbows used in combat in 1970-1971. The Montagnards (indigenous mountain peoples) fashioned hand made crossbows that they used for hunting, self-defense & combat. GI’a liked them so much they traded with the Indians so they would make crossbows for them.

Myself recently separating from a 15 year relationship with three kids, iv been through a very dark place myself. Hence the large gaps where i dont make videos.
