Beulah Bondi was such a good actress. She could play the role of the sweetest woman on earth, or a wicked old witch. I was surprised to find out Tab Hunter was a homosexual; I'd never guess it. I think one of his best roles was in the movie "Gunman's Walk". Some very talented actors in this movie. Why they didn't get a real native American to play the part of an Indian I'll never know. I think it would have really improved the movie.

This is strangely like a stage play in the way the actors speak the lines they are given . The way the lines are uttered and something too in the bodily movements .Odd.

Put simply this a "Drama" in a western setting. If you were looking for action not here. The direction eventually becomes clear and kind of predictable. Good cast and a first tier director for a rather dull film.
