Mick, you're an absolute warrior. Cancer ain't got s**t on you. Kick it's ass. Make sure you stay away from supermarkets, most likely the place you will get Ill in my opinion. Online shopping would be wise. Devastated to hear this news mate. My better half just got the all clear after finding a lump. Lots of love mate.

Just watching catch up, and I’m very sorry to hear you’re news! My thoughts are with you and your family and wish you a very speedy recovery. Which I know will happen as you are a strong positive man, and loads of support! I know it’s possible to live a very active life with one kidney as I only have one working the 2nd never developed an I’m 57. I also have trod a similar path and in 2014 a shadow was found on my right lung after being told lung cancer was a high possibility as a heavy smoker tests scans dyes later I had to have a biopsy. Acid fast pacilly bacteria was found (TB) all the scaring an active bacteria was removed leaving me with a 3rd of lung gone. All this from a lifetime in the countryside.I was blessed and I know you will be, but once again thoughts are with you all.

Proud of you for sharing your condition, Cancer is the hardest thing mentally you can have been diagnosed. I'm here for you day or night, only a call away, brother ,I was scared shirtless when my daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia. The journey nearly killed me .don't ever be afraid to talk, brother. Prayers & good luck Mick... my home colorectal cancer test (infamous for false positives) showed positive, and a colonoscopy was ordered. However, the stupid hospital refused to do the test because I've got no family to drive me after anesthesia. They won't let me use a taxi... I'm seeing the doctor in January and will see what she has to say. I still have adventures on the horizon as well.

Mick you should take away any pressure to do anything until you are back 100 percent. . Focus on those close to you and nothing else . Im a big believer in the value of good sleep to assist the body . Thinking about you

Good you have a spare... caught early and with a fighter's attitude - you got this mate. Healthy eating: Saline better than sugar, cos sugar feeds the C. Avoid health-nuts who recommend Aspartame/Nutrasweet/phenylalanine which can cause it - I still reckon that crap which was pushed by dentist caused my Mum's relapse, but she did have lovely teeth at the end... Re: milkthistle, dunno much but I've heard it said that Little Robin/Herb Robert is good in a tea for this, heard of it too late to help Mum tho.
