The Oracle 2311 is a nice pistol, but do note the barrel plane, which would be high even by 1911/2011 standards. Super soft shooting, but that's because so much energy is being converted to muzzle rise. Barrel porting helps, for sure, but I prefer pistols that are just as flat shooting without the need for ports. I like most of the pistols here, but in spite of perhaps being newer designs, I am far less impressed. The Daniel has a straight back trigger, which is truly innovative in a striker fired weapon; that is impressive. Otherwise, we can tout and nit, but it's just another striker fired weapon to me, beyond that amazing trigger. There's nothing to any other striker fired weapons here that you can't build out of most any other striker fired weapon, often at a lower cost. What is it with Barretta still putting safeties on slides where they don't belong? While they are way more pricey, the CS Shadow 2 line are truly amazing. An employee at my local range just purchased the shorter barrel version and it is rather spectacular...got a good (though pricey) one there! Kinda breaks my heart to see Eric Grauffel shooting for CZ instead of Tanfoglio, but I guess he's gotta go where the money is. The CZ choices and Atlas Arms seem out of place. The rest are mostly nice production type pistols. You can purchase multiple of these for the cost of one CZ, and you can get multiple CZs for the cost of one Atlas Arms. Talk about scaling upwards. Deciding upon the Atlas Arms as your ultimate choice is as absurd as it is logical. Interesting video, as unfair among the competitors as it is informative. Comparing the Atlas Arms to the Ruger, for example, is like competing an NBA team against a WNBA team. It's absurd. But, I guess new is new, and that appears to be the point of the video. The thing is if new is the point, the Atlas Arms 'new' EDC is new in name and more regular production only, and only kind of. Calling any Atlas Arms pistol a 'production model' is again positively absurd when compared to what 'production model' means to the Ruger. Think I'm done with gun review videos. Most are AI generated and all sound the same. Most all comparison videos compare (figuratively) Honda Civics against Corvette ZR1s against $M Keonigseggs, and then pretend there's a logical outcome. Let's see...a $500 production this, or a $7K+ hand-built Atlas Arms...what to do, what to do. Often, you can hear the various examples of bias as they nitpick every even 'might be a flaw/limitation' on one weapon, while excusing even obvious issues or limitations of their favorites.
