We bought 3-blue 55-gallon water barrels @ $82 each; then we didn’t like the idea of two little holes on top with a siphon instead of the whole top coming off. Can’t get inside to scrub it clean. So we then bought 6 of the used food grade pickle barrels. 50 gallons with screw off lids. $18 each. We also have several 5 gallon containers and a few Rain barrels. But now that we have a community we are needing more water so we ordered the Simple hand well pump. It should be here next week and that will be installed on the well. At first we were ok with hauling buckets of water from the creek down the road when our water runs out but with more people now than just the 3 of us and having a garden we knew hauling water every single day for the garden wouldn’t be good. You encourage me to keep stacking it up even on days I don’t want to. Enjoyed the video

Forest fires in CA, TX with heavy rain from Mexico hurricane, Heat wave in NE states, and Russia in the Cuba and possible in FL. Sleeper cells are in strategic areas now. I have been storing water in many containers and recycle often. When power goes down, time for night vision.

I'm almost 67 and have been preparing for 8 years for my family and me. I can't get my 4 adult kids to get ready. Unless they are, maybe two are, and just don't want crazy mom to know lol. So I gift prepping supplies. Anyway...in my little apartment I'm continuing to stock up on food and water. I have 3, 5, 6 and 2.5 gallon jugs full. Also any soda and juice bottles I empty. I drink a lot of 16oz bottles of Sprite and have been refilling those with water. Every knook and cranny. I live in a 4 unit apartment building and I'm working on making survival kits for my neighbors in the building. Four good guys I want to have as "comrades" if and when shtf happens. They will NEVER be allowed in my apartment but we can help each other.

I flipped my pickup 4 times once. Before it went airborn? I held the steering wheel from spinning. That helped. But it broke the steering column along with my fingers. When the flipping started? I grabbed the stick shift to pull myself low in case the cab got crushed. And I pulled that stick right out of the floor. Truck finally landed on its nose and laid over on the drivers side. Seeing you put it all back in lets me know kinda what they had to do to fix my pickup. I appreciate you continuing to remind us to get ready. You have been my driving force. (pardon the pun). I have quite a collection of stuff you have recommended. And more.

Aren't you getting fancy with your utube video? I was actually going to suggest the vevor water barrels. We do have the regular blue barrels and a hand pump for our well, but the vevor rain barrels are out in the garden. We have 6 out there, and they're really nice. Easy to set up and easy to put away because they're collapsible. I bought them a couple of years ago and they weren't that expensive. We started putting away food back in 2010, but as a prepper, we actually didn't know that much. This time, when we started really preparing, we did water first. Water is the most important thing you can prep. You can't do anything without water. Good luck on that jeep!

I have canned ham and can beef from Keystone. It taste just like a roast beef. Canned potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, fruit and pie fillings, flour, sugar, salt, etc. If you stock the basics you will have a fine dinner for the Holidays. I plan on making pies, cakes and cookies just like always. Just have to bake it a little different

Cheers man hows your day going? mine was fine i was thinking I do have an issue I know I will eat if SHTF and I have a pile of dry goods but, I have started the carnivore diet 17 months now (lost 70 pounds) and my stuff just sits there aging. I still can my own beef and what ever meat im in the market for that week and I get all from an old friend off the Hutterite colony close by town farm to table I buy 100 pounds ground every 2 months

Ive save a lot of money not buying overpriced junk food at the store and put it towards building a rain catch system. I then put together a raised bed garden. I harvest the fruit and seed. STOP BUYING JUNK at the store and put your money towards stocking basic necessities

When shopping for a water filter my friend I recommend a ceramic filter that has a activated carbon core. There are many being sold even on Amazon. As a matter of fact amazon has a lot of them. I've stocked up on filters from 4 Patriot, but they are also one of my affiliate programs
