I actually like solar power even though some have alot of negative comments. I worked in solar installations and mostly maintenance side for almost 20 years. Even helped a friend install solar power on his Argo as a solar direct drive system. I’d be interested in getting set up and learning how to make video reviews on systems. Great review.

Just got mine love it got the 2400/500 solar. First charge going on now. Going to retro the double thick shipping box and make a faraday cage. Haven't used the solar yet but the cases they come in are totally awesome and look to have 15 feet of Solar Cable. Just bought a anderson 25ft Extension cable 12 gauge. Volts and amp appear to be in spec. To handle the 500 watt panels. If anyone has had issues let me know. Pannel each 19.8 v Volts each. 12.1 a Wire 300v. 30 amp max. 25 feet long

it requires some rationing, you won't be able to live 1:1 off grid how you do ongrid without a massive massive battery bank (then a huge array/system to recharge it). washer/dryer/dishwasher toaster microwave stove fridge freezer all require some finessing and compromise. but it's doable. most of the rest is pretty doable, once you figure out your heating/cooling/washing system.

Like we do with our gas generator ~ be selective and just run what you need. 😂 I never run my dryer because I like having hot water. However ~ my gas generator is larger than this solar. I want this bad boy as well in case we can’t get gas. Been there before during an ice storm. We had to drive 45 min to the nearest town that had power to their pumps.

Just my simple opinion they do not give you enough solar panels for the price you pay…. Also if I wanted to use the power from my house to recharge a battery I would just get some stand alone batteries and an independent inverter for way less of a price….. not saying it’s a bad device but if your going to use it during the day and you have a limited input you will kill that battery some what fast depending on if you are powering a heavy load device…..
