Food for thought, try throwing right hand right foot stepping and throwing it like your cutting through someone with a saber. Watched a video a pro thrower did but can't recall his name off hand I wanna say the last name was Johnson but it really improved my throwing immensely. Thought I'd share. Love the vids keep em coming.

I started with the sure flight. Great knives. Cheap, robust and well balanced. My tips are worn out but they still stick

I read all the books and as far as their names go Darker Than Amber was the best but I don't remember that story. Rod Taylor was a great choice for the character. My books are in storage and whenever I hear certain colors I remember the series and think back to what I was doing in the 80's. It's about time I revisit an old friend now that I am retired. Throwing knives looks like a skill that could come in useful...but if you had too...you would be in a pretty tough situation and hopefully you can run fast.

I can't help but say "that's what she said" but because I won't dirty up the channel too bad I'll let Y'all figure out when I thought this. Well there's several times... dang being sleep deprived at work, Lol. Thanks for the great, scientific tests! Your videos are always enjoyable!

You are welcome to laugh at me. I know very little about knife throwing. I found a Ginsu knife in trash (not nasty garbage, FYI) that some renters had abandoned, and I tried throwing it and it was amazing! It's now my favorite knife, the edge just keeps on going. Go figure.

Years back I got three Cold Steel True Flight throwers. 12" and a fun beast. Not as pointy/sharpened on one side. But the silly rabbits put a wrapped paracord handle on them. When I kind of got the hang of it, tossing groups, one would cut the other's handle. jeeze. ~ yup, kind of addicting when they stick. ~ I screwed on cut tree rounds from backside of a sheet of plywood, thinking it would take a super human throw to hit a screw. I should have used thicker rounds because after two years they were cracking/splitting. ~~ So sharp I had to learn the handle throw..always 16' straight on. I had better luck throwing with blade horizontal, which works ok on rounds. But toss at regular log/tree it would have trouble sticking due to point and knife hitting vertical wood grains horizontally. The knife's handle shape was hard for me to wrangle throwing vertical..for repeatabillity of release.
