Axe Project Pt. 3 - Preliminary Sharpening & Overstrike Attachment

Here I put a Preliminary edge on the Axe and install the Overstrike guard on the handle. During filming I had a lapel mic go bad in one segment of the video, that mic is now in the trash and a replacement will soon be on order!
If anyone does a Axe restore like this, maybe you can get some ideas of what to do/or not to do from this video 👍

Thanks 👍 It's getting there, but I've got to get a cover over that edge...it's just too sharp to be carrying around like that 🤪 I still haven't found a design of cover I'm happy with yet 😳 I'm on V.3 so far...LOL

Thanks for the reminder about the water 👍 I already had a pretty good edge on it, I just had to get all the paint off and make sure of the angle 🤪 I should have used needle nose pliers doing the lacing, instead of trying to use my fat fingers 😳 It won't be long before I'll be making some kindling now 👍 We've got our 1st cold front coming in in the morning (Wed 84/54 👍), 100* today 😳 Take Care my Friend and stay safe up there guy 👍
