CDDA is proof that the RNG God is always watching, and that we live and die by his machinations. You're either living five minutes or five plus months, there is never any in-between, there are no greys between the black and white, there is simply RNG and the cynical obsession of avoiding it. Alas, being the most well-read hermetic polymath in the world is of little reward when there is only zombies to impress with our lacklustre perfection - and alas again, there is always fire and malice... Aka: I'm an empty individual with an empty life and I use the Kill Counter mod to include zombie kills by fire and vehicles in order to feel better about spending hours of my life to occasionally committing virtual genocide on the virtuously undead, under extremely unfavourable conditions. i never would have dreamed of treating my character this cruelly. I thought your guy would have a heart attack and die. So I looked it up, and now I see why you are allowed to essentially ignore the negative moodles as you do. Apparently you simply can't die from overexertion or stress; there's just a cap to how much damage you do and the likelihood you trip but that's mainly it. You should need to take a lot more water, but apparently the drinks and the tumbler you have are sufficient

it took almost 400 hours for this to dwell on me, but, nothing is quicker, easier and safer to despatch of a horde than spears. Spears by far are the most overlooked weapon in the game because people see them as flimsy and fragile, when in fact, you can walk down the road between rosewood and muldraugh wielding 2 spears with hunting knives on and clear the whole path nonchalantly…

I really, really hate the mechanic of needing to read a magazine for extremely basic stuff like adding a new line to a fishing rod, and starting a generator.

The generator thing is more about hooking up the generator to a house's electrical system. We may be able to do it safely but the average person will likely off themselves or start a fire. Without knowing a thing about generators and their maintenance we are likely to destroy them too. Also generators (and cars) should require oil as part of their regular maintenance. What would make more sense is to gate those things behind the electrical and fishing skills. If you find the magazines they should allow you to bypass the skill requirement as they would just tell you what to do. If not, then your character would use their skills to figure it out. Same for mechanics.

CDDA Challenge but in zomboid... Boooooring! Also CDDA is just more interesting overall to begin with tbh.. Plus the challenge would've been actually there, Zomboid revolve mainly around losing zombie's sight which is actually very easy to do.. XD CDDA you have a whole slew of actually dangerous monsters to contend with! not just boring ol zambies.. (on top of all them zombie variants lol)
