From what I’ve seen in other places, he actually went pretty easy on you with the flexibility training. Usually Shaolin monks will sit on your leg and force you into a split on the first day. Twice each leg for four sessions 6 days a week.

"But do you know what's the more important thing to train?" "What?" "To train our heart. To train our persistence. To calm our restless mind." I would remain to listen to the teachings of the monks forever, even if in order to hear their voice I had to suffer the pain of hell, because I know that inside every pain there is a teaching. Monks are a bottomless pit of wisdom and their words always manage to fill me with tranquility and peace☀️

I was just looking for this comment. He comes off as just whiny and afraid of hard work. If he worked on the splits for 30 days before this he mightve been able to do it. Also he mightve been fine with the stairs if he did cardio or push ups. He says he takes it seriously but its clearly just for youtube content ad revenue and clout. Ugh

Very inspirational video! I started training Goju Ryu Karate almost 3 months ago, 4 to 5 days per week, and everything still hurts, but I must say that it hurts a little less than the 1st two months, and I do feel progress in my stretching, and even more so in my core and leg stamina. The horse stance still hurts, but I can stand in it for longer periods of time now. Keep up the hard training! 加油

"I wasn't borned with a natural talent" Imma be honest, whenever someone says that bullshit it pisses me off. NOBODY IS. Talent isn't a gift. It's pure training. U can't get talented just for free. All those kung fu master have probably almost tortured themselves to become strong and flexible like that. It's phisically impossible to get flexible like your master without training. I myself practice karate and I never was strong or super flexible until I had started my training. I ain't trying to hate, I'm just saying that people usually has the wrong idea of what talent is...
