I agree with you. All the grown men and women he’s interviewed need more time to speak, with Frank’s footage still supporting their stories being understood like inserts during the interviews. They’ve developed a strongly felt deliverance with the realities they share. I hope they all see that. We all find things to identify with, but this, with the editing and visuals, raw emotions, it’s as real as it can get. The world needs to know it respectfully.

Saw this in CA, mostly ELA. Lots of these guys/gals came from hones with moms and dads. Yet, many of the same outcomes. Criminality and incarceration were an element of their lives. My dad's family came from the same streets, but never ran the streests. Went to school, no drugs, received their degrees, became engineers, attorneys, CPAs. One actually received his Phd in Mathenatics. Chicanos, just like this dude. Came from neighborhoods similar to the ones this guy came from. I don't understand how this can continue...
