I envy Peter, he lives in a small cozy house in the nature surrounded by birds, animals and trees what can be better that that? This is life.

I was curious how people in the middle of Australia survives, considering 85% live at the edges - and searched "Australian outback" this was even more interesting than i was hoping. Thank you for your work!

This was fabulous, thank you for sharing it with us. It was very informative , and I enjoyed the indigenous peoples legends relating to the plants and the Elements on which they depend for food, and so much more. A life lived in connection to all life, we need to return to that kind of mindful and balanced way of living before it is too late. This Earth, the Great Mother will survive just fine without us…She will even repair the damage we have done, but we cannot survive without Her and the bounty She provides.🖤🇨🇦

How lucky he is getting to grow up with the aboriginal australians... It would be incredibly to learn the skills from them to walk about :)

7:25 this video doesn't mention that those feral cats in the Australian Outback can grow huge, twice the size of domestic cats.

I think of Australia as like a mini version of Pangea, with all its extremes.

Didn't go into detail about the mammals in the beginning. Mammals are three categories: Marsupials, Placentals, Monotremes. Marsupials such as the North American Opossum or Australia's Kangaroos, newborn go through some more development in a protective pouch. Placentals like Humans or Dogs do all the embryotic development in the womb/placenta. Monotremes like Echidna and Platypus lay young in eggs.

Dreamtime applies to mainland aboriginals but I don't believe it applies to Tasmanian aboriginals who split off 40,000 year ago. They did not have a dreamtime story prior to leaving.

I hate watching people eat the wildlife, last time they dug up a bunch of turtle eggs and their big assess had a feast and yet couldn't understand why the turtles numbers was in decline, after the fifth pile, you would have thought someone would have figured it out
