God showed me His sovereignty through horrible situations from a very early age. My father passed when I was 16 and by 19 my first born child passed away. I could have easily fallen into the enemy’s trap of blaming God and becoming bitter. But God has given me an unimaginable amount of wisdom in knowing that He takes these tragedies and weaves them into glory for his names sake. I have witnessed his authority and mercy time and time again. We can’t be so earthly focused that we miss Gods love and movement in our worst moments. Trust Him! Put your faith in HIM. He will not let you down.

However we became thirsty and decided to head back to land to get a drink. While we were at the shop, the Tsunami struck. 40 plus people lost their lives. We were saved by the lord.

It is refreshing to have a lay Christian in the interview, I enjoy the big conversations on theology and apologetics and I always learn important ideas from the scholars and experts. When you have a lay Christian in the interview, they don't throw out big theological terms, it is simply about living the Christian life and putting those big ideas into practice, it is real. This wasn't an easy interview, Sean did a wonderful job letting the guest take her time and then asking important questions for the audience. Thank you Sean!!

I was 'officially' killed in that Tsunami in Thailand, even though I'm very much alive. One time I was going on holidays, and at the airport they scanned my passport and the machine started beeping. The official gave me a stern look, and said, 'sir, you have to come with me'. I was interviewed, and I found out that my passport had been cancelled, because according to their records I had been killed in that Tsunami (despite the fact I've never been toThailand, as proven by my passport record). After some investigation it was found that someone had made a clerical error and got a number wrong when cancelling the passport of someone who had died there.

I do not know Jesus yet. I asked him, though yesterday, to please help me raise my children to know and love Him (their father was raised Hindu), to give them the inate moral compass He has given me (though admittedly I often have not followed it in the past at times, evidence by marrying my husband perhaps, searching for signs perhaps where there were none). Perhaps this interview with this lovely lady, is an actual sign He was listening. She grew up with Him in her heart it seems.

Hi Snow! I didn’t grow up knowing Jesus either. If you would like, you can accept him into your heart right now, Do you want to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior? John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and has made that was for us back to God. Our sin separated us from God, but Jesus sacrificed His life to bring us back to God. He loves you so much.

@w4rsh1p a. People die all the time, including a huge variety of other tragedies B. I have heard of others that were saved from the tsunami in amazing ways, they just didn't mention God, but God uses different ways at different times C. God fails at nothing D. Did those others choose God and ask for His help? => E. God doesn't choose to stop all disaster and tragic death obviously, He doesn't necessarily respond to everyone's requests for all things. He has His reasons. And who are you to know them? "For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM?" 1 Corinthians 2:16 F. It's amazing that that's the comment you people feel is appropriate, decent, and respectful to leave on a video of such a miraculous and joyous account of a young life saved in certain death. G. God uses lots of tragedies and sorrows, for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Those of us who know Him and have grown tremendously through our tremendous sufferings would know. H. "For God so loved the world *that* He gave His only begotten Son *that whosoever* believes in Him WOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE." John 3:16

Monica, if you're still reading these comments I want to tell you that your feeling that people would think you're crazy is legit and totally relatable. My daughter's heart stopped while I was in labor, she was hemorrhaging from the lungs when they delivered her 6 minutes later via emergency C-section. She lost all of her own blood while they pumped new blood in to keep her alive. I "saw" wings covering my daughter and I as they rushed us in to surgery and remembered Psalm 91. The Lord came and sat by my bed the next morning. I "saw" Him not with my eyes (if that makes sense). I felt His love and His approval - like the love a parent has for their precious newborn where before I'd only seen Him as stern and disapproving. I didn't share that with anyone for a long time because I felt that they wouldn't understand and would interpret it, analyze it and ruin something beautiful. We stand on the Word of God, the Scripture and filter things like this through the truth therein but we can't dictate to the Spirit how He will work. Thank you for trusting the Lord with your story. (edited to add - MY DAUGHTER LIVED~! That was just the beginning of her story. God is faithful)

It's something I didn't even begin to process until I was in Portugal. I should have mentioned that. I didn't talk much about those years in this interview. But I did mention they were very difficult and it got so dark, I even wanted to die. While I was in Thailand though, I was so overjoyed for being alive, I could feel God so present, that it left no space for feeling anything else. I know it can seem weird.

@monicarconnelly thank you so much for sharing your incredible testimony. I'm a reborn Christian living in Thailand now. I so relate to your story. My 16 month old baby died of SUDC 14 years ago. The morning I found him in his cot I had a supernatural God experience too and knew that day He was totally real. I completely surrendered my life to Jesus that day and I have experienced many more miracles since then. God Bless you and your family and I will pray for your brother to find Christ xxx

@lkam3893 wow... I'm so glad God met you in that moment. Only He could. Thank you for your prayers. They are truly appreciated. It is my brother who is not saved, not my husband.

I love your interviews. Why the illuminated bat in the background?

Good Question perhaps it's something he had with him from youth...I'm not justifying Batman😂

The bat is extremely distracting. He's trying to be relatable to young people.

I remember being in Iraq watching the news reports. I'll never forget how I failed the Lord. My atheist friend asked me "where is your God in this?" I just said "I don't know"
