Les, I love these commentary videos you do. You're the most reasonable, logical, fair, and rational voice on this topic. I also love the insights on your decision making in the video. I have a few questions for you on Todd. 1. Is Todd so unlucky that even after all these years and so many sightings, he hasn't been able to produce irrefutable evidence of bigfoot? All his footages are unclear and inconclusive. 2 Aside from having you accompany him, has he ever brought anyone else with him on his trips? Did anyone else see what he saw with him? 3. If he truly believes that bigfoot exists, in your opinion, why hasn't he been able convince anyone to help him prove it? I feel like he's in on this alone, like he has no support other than those that say they believe him.

Too much artificial dishonest skepticism, this entire commentary was barely anything other than qualifiers and skepticism, even though Les clearly knows better because of his personal experiences which make him know 100% that these beings are real and that they are not mere animals. Les tries to "ease in" new viewers...but anyone ignorant/prejudiced about bigfoot won't care for Les' opinion anyway, so those are not the kinds of people one should focus on. Bigfoot research has everything you mentioned (not the tv nonsense, but actual research). Look at the presentations of Kryder Expeditions etc. who study the behaviour of these beings and tribes/families. Listen to what the natives have to tell about these beings (who traded with these "human tribes", as they call it, in the past). Les should stop "dancing around" the core of the matter and tackle the research head on. No ignorant/prejudiced scientist is gonna care if you mention "bigfoot" and keep saying "but it could not be real..." in every sentence. -> this commentary was almost nothing but exactly that. Very few background information about the shoot et cetera...just "but it could've been humans, it could've been a bear" all the time, even though he knows better from his own experience.

I watched Bigfoot shows here and there and they all came up empty-handed. So a while ago I started listening to different Utube channels with stories of Bigfoot and they seem to have a few things in common, within the stories they tell. I believe if you intentionally go out to find them, you will not. And I believe they have this extra sense that is more developed than we have. And they say things happen in the real deep thick parts of the forests where no one goes and apparently they migrate. So good luck and can’t wait to see what you discover.!

I I personally seen broken tree tops twist an turn in the air. I woulda wrote these structures off as just that. A specific place on the topography where weather does weird stuff. But sure is exciting to think they’re intentional. I like your take of thumps in the ground. It’s amazing how hollow(?) the alpine topsoil is. Simple pine squirrel jumping in an out of a tree can sound like an elk pawing the ground. Especially at night, especially on you own, gets in your head. Thank you for this break down!

There have been sightings of Sasquatch on the 93 hwy many times. The area around Castle mountain on the # 1 hwy and that turnoff for # 93 is another hotspot. You have to hike in a few kms for the real stuff to happen. I tried it few years back and got totally spooked by seeing 2 grizzlies - that was enough for this man to say…”nope, I’m outa here”. That turnoff at 93 by the David Thomson resort is definitely a hotspot. Ive ridden up there a few times and the horses get really twitchy! One of my own theories is that some of the bigfoot will travel within rivers or streams because this hides both scent trails from dogs and their footprints from humans. And this accounts a little bit for some mysteries where its near streams or rivers and also the smell of a sasquatch. A wet dog is stinkier than a dry one... ya know what i mean?

I have followed Bigfoot info from the days old when The Legend of Boggy Creek came out. I was in elementary school at the time and I loved Bigfoot stuff!. So I’m 61 now and life has taught me few things along the way. I’m a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, camper, hiker, ATV’r and all around active person in the outdoors. I have spent times in the swampy areas of Florida at night alone with my dog or friends and in very remote areas in other states. No contact with anything but animals I could identify. I am in technology as a career and things are proven true by facts or they don’t exist. That’s life in general. I have from Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia to Maine and west to Texas. Lived in Europe for many years as well. Many of these years I was equipped with military equipment that was for night vision as well. So anything hot glowed like a night light and we never have seen anything other than deer, hogs and people while out moving at night. I have zero experience with anything bigger than a bear. I love the mystery of Bigfoot but don’t believe it exists. Why? There is always an excuse for why we can’t get solid proof. There is always a blurry or shaky video of Bigfoot and I know most of those “video proof” are hoaxes. Now why is it that many of the Bigfoot scary encounters are at night? Because it adds to the magic of it. We are told this is an intelligent being that can think, stalk and mark its territory. How do they do it? Knocks on rocks and trees? Tosses rocks? Bends trees like some drunken sailor walking in the woods?😂 yeah I get it some of these trees are large but really? This smart animal can’t do better? We can find bear dens, bear marks on a tree, deer rubs and beaver dams but Bigfoot bends trees? Naw….to me it doesn’t add up. Does a bear crap in the woods? Deer? Rabbit? Owls? Humans? Yes and yet no Bigfoot scat. Take this Todd S night encounter that I personally feel is fake but why wasn’t there all kinds of footprints? Roughed up ground, broken tree warnings, broken branches from them running around? Because it didn’t happen. Wouldn’t you take all that footage and pics after something like happened? A normal person trying to document evidence would. Todd’s clear picture of Bigfoot staring at him looks manufactured to me. I mean think about this….you have pushed your ideas and “proof” and you’re still considered a little crazy. So how do you up your game? You come up with a clear photo or video but nothing additional. You don’t chase it or get the close up proof after it leaves? Why? Because it’s not real proof. Todd’s footage of this Bigfoot walking or standing up? Shaky and a little blurry😂 why? The footage of them walking around with this video was not shaky or blurry. Yes holding a camera at yourself can be a little shaky but when you’re trying to document something that everyone wants to see you would be on point and damn near perfect. If anyone can convince me of Bigfoot existing it would be Les. He doesn’t need to be respected as an outdoorsman or survivor because he did it with solid proof. I have met a ton of people and my spidey senses always get alerted when listening to Todd. I have met people like him who have a little something off in their head. The way they talk and push untrue ideas is similar. I trust my instincts and I think he is a total hoax. I don’t care how long he has been doing this because with his experience he should be more skilled at his gathering of evidence. Why isn’t he? Well I think it’s because he uses his experience to falsify “evidence”. Yeah it’s my opinion but at this point all he has is his opinion as well.

Congrats Les!! Very excited to contribute to this upcoming project. Keep that skepticism real. This has remained such a mystery for so long and given your extensive experience living and surviving in some of the most remotes regions of world, I truly believe your opinions, and hopefully your evidence, will go a long way to either debunking or convincing many if these creatures truly exist.. Either way we are all very excited for your next endeavor on this subject...

The idea of a new Bigfoot film has me as giddy as a child on Christmas Eve! Let's go! Everyone should throw a few (or several) dollars at the kick starter. Les delivers with his content and we all want more. We need to support the team that has given us so much over the years! We may even get an exclusive Bigfoot interview🤔😆

In 1979, I'm a newly minted Lieutenant in the American Army. My unit is in Alaska doing an escape and evasion exercise. We are on the run from the red team (posing as the enemy, Russians) and are going up and down mountains. I was leading a two man scouting mission ahead of our main group, who were about 200 yards behind us. We are heading downslope on exposed shale towards a line of trees below us. As we neared the forest, we both saw a very large black shape hunched behind a downed tree, digging at the ground. At first we thought it was a big bear, but then it heard us, and stood up. It had to be 12' tall, and about 6' across at the shoulders. It was massively muscled. I've seen plenty of big animals both here in North America and in Africa. The bigfoot had humanish facial features, mostly hairless, enough to see that it looked surprised that we were there. Then it showed anger, and grimaced and just bounded away deeper in the forest. Our CO told us to keep it quiet and not report it. I've since learned that Tier One units hunt these things down, here in Alaska, and in the mainland US.

Hey, Les, I can't tell you enough how much I love your work and how much I respect you as a survivalist, as a filmmaker and as an educator. You've done a hell of a lot of great work, and that can't be overstated. Just the same though, I wish you'd stop disparaging Finding Bigfoot. Ok, so you don't enjoy that show, and that's fair- nothing appeals to everybody, but please bear the following in mind: Cliff and Matt an Bobo are all serious bigfoot researchers who've dedicated decades of their lives to discovering information about the species. They've each spent hundreds (maybe thousands) of nights in the woods, and have hiked countless miles looking for the truth. They did NOT make the show in order to make a mockery out of bigfoot, and I don't think they did make a mockery of it. Finding Bigfoot introduced millions of people to the subject who previously knew little to nothing about it, and introduced the eyewitness testimony of thousands of witnesses to a worldwide audience. This showed countless people that these creatures ARE being seen, and that it IS ok to talk about what you've witnessed. I believe that Finding Bigfoot did a lot to remove the stigma of automatic ridicule from the phenomenon of having a sasquatch sighting. It also sparked an interest in millions of young people- an interest in sasquatch and an interest in the outdoors, and in wildlife conservation. In fact I would argue that Finding Bigfoot did something that very FEW television shows ever come close to doing, and that is doing some lasting good in the world. The guys who worked on that show are still out there, hard at it, doing what they can to gather more data and hopefully get us closer to solving the mystery. So please, cut them some slack, would you? Thanks. Still a huge fan of yours! Best of luck with everything you've got goin on! --Naomi

I’m really glad you’re putting together that film. A few years ago, I had an unusual experience while bow hunting in the southern Talladega National Forest. I can’t say for sure it was a Bigfoot, but I can’t explain what happened. I’ve spent most of my life guiding hunters and fishermen in remote parts of North America, so I’m very familiar with the sounds and rhythms of nature. I hope this film turns out to be something I can share with my friends and family without them thinking, “This guy is nuts!”
