Imagine if it were normalized that a killer player can DC anytime they run into something they don’t want to play against? Map offerings, Dead Hard, DS, flashlight/flashbang swfs, sabo squads, etc. (especially thinking back in time to the strongest versions of these things and others like old Circle of Healing). The game literally wouldn’t be able to function. But survivors apparently get to be selfish pricks who ruin the game for other players (not just the killer, but also their teammates) because they think they should get to dictate what parts of the game everyone else gets to play.

I wish I could refund all the time I spent playing Skully and all the skins I bought. RIP me for starting to play the game right before her release and enjoying her gameplay. I liked the knight, but he's a buggy mess and survivors DC against him too. Stopped playing him and started playing Skully, and then 3 gen degenerates turned her into chess merchant and got her reworked. Started playing Sadako and then she gets reworked twice, and people still give up or DC on sight. So, to sum up why I uninstalled and unfavorited the game, the three killers that I enjoyed have been reworked multiple times and multiple people still give up or DC on site of those killers. I'm done flipping coins every time I queue to see how many survivors won't play the game because of my killer choice. You're a wonderful content creator and ambassador of the brand. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. They don't deserve you.

So no in this case it's not just " some survivor mains being stupid".

To be fair, DCs against Skull Merchant are MUCH rarer now. Of course they still sometimes happen, but it's just night and day compared to how it was before the nerf. The SM clip here was one of these few rare incidents.

The clip where the doctor accused otz and his team of genrushing reminds me of a match that happened recently that I did with two of my friends against a plague that after I got off of dbd to stream Minecraft went to my chat and accused us of genrushing, exploiting, cheating and holding her hostage despite it being just about what you could imagine as a basic match (FYI we were all PlayStation expect for the plague and the first gen didn't get done for four minutes) also merry Christmas to everyone!
