If the TARDIS starting to act up was aboard the spaceship at the end of time but before the salt was spread, this actually provides a hook for it. After all the last on screen reference we have for him was being sent down a time corridor to 'the end of time!' So when the TARDIS shows up with that bit of SUTEKH inside, it was something he could latch on to?

@@forcedalek Its my favorite theory. I think Susan Triad is trying to use something like a Tardis to try and save Sutekh from the time corridor the doctor trapped them in. Maybe theres an actual Triad of beings that relate to all this. Could be Ruby, Mrs Flood, and S Triad.

Considering that they brought back the Toymaker for the 60th Anniversary I wouldn´t doubt that they bring back another classic villain. I looked up a bit about who Sutekh was and it´s a character I would like to see in the current show.

I personally believe she isn't Sutekh, but is instead a servant of Sutekh. First off - we know that Sutekh conquers human beings' minds in order to do his bidding to help him escape his prison. Secondly, this servant-nature gives the victim a physical disfiguration (Scarman in POM became paler, and looked like a corpse) and Susan's disfiguration is shown through that makeup, with the makeup itself having connotations of Egyptian culture, as well as the potential pyramids in the backdrop. I'm also not crazy about the idea of giving Sutekh such a vast redesign, he is one of the few classic era villains that still looks amazing. Also, "Triad" technologies - "tri", as in "3" is reminiscent of the design of a pyramid. I saw a KZbinr point out the use of triangles in all the Gatwa episodes so far, it seems to be everywhere Another reason I believe she is a servant instead of Sutekh is because of the performance - she seems worried and being forced into doing things against her will. "In every dream I'm there" could mean Sutekh's prison, as well as the various cameos in Gatwa's stories so far. As for the reason, Sutekh is probably using her to spy on the doctor for him and lure him into the scheme, and with "S. Triad" being an anagram of "TARDIS", this could link to Sutekh's plot in that original story of attempting to steal the TARDIS from the Doctor. This is perhaps where the memory TARDIS comes in, and that shot of the Doctor screaming could be at the end of the first part; Sutekh escaping his prison, turning worlds into dust, and having control of the TARDIS, which would also explain the technical faults of the TARDIS that we are being told to pay attention to. The scheduled "Tales of the TARDIS" episode would logically then be Ruby asking the Doctor about his past with Sutekh, and the "Pyramids Of Mars" story playing, providing some context for new viewers for the finale. Plus, from the trailers we have seen sand engulfing London and whole worlds being turned to dust. The sand links to Egypt, and the worlds being turned to dust reflects Sutekh's threat in that original appearance of "turning everything into dust and darkness". Also, Sutekh is a villain that we haven't even SEEN the full extent of power with, and therefore a natural way to raise the stakes with bringing a character like that back would be through expressing the full extent of his power. With the way in which his original story ends too, the character is not killed, but made to wait in an eternal prison, the "one who waits" idea is clearly linked to him. Also, the Toymaker stated he gambled with God and absolutely destroyed the Master, but was too scared to face this mystery villain. Therefore, the character must be ABSURDLY powerful, and WAY above even the Toymaker. It rules out any Time Lord villains or even most God-like entities. Also, the way that the Maestro said "the one who waits is almost here", has connotations of a slow journey being made in order to bring this villain back; they cannot just appear out of nowhere. The whole point of Sutekh's original story was about him trying to get other people to help him escape, and it wasn't exactly a fast process. This could explain why Twist's cameos have been spread out across the season. One detractor from all of this could be RTD's comment about the finale having "links to the third doctor's era" which would lead you to assume it's a Pertwee-era villain, such as Omega, however we know that RTD loves to deceive the viewers, and this connection to Pertwee could be a very simple thing such as a quick reference or a minor returning character. I mean, UNIT clearly have a prominent role in the finale, and Pertwee's Doctor was most connected to them, so his comment is absolutely a wild card. In conclusion.... reckon it might be Sutekh yk

I actually rewatched Pyramids of Mars for this upcoming episode, and Sutekh would be an amazing villain. We never got to full see what he can do, so it would be exciting to see his full potential released, in exactky what 4 feared could happen

I really do think its the most likely theory out of all of them. I mean we never know what RTD is planning, but Sutekh feels like a theory ive seen most evidence for thats makes sense. I think the Trickster is also another cool theory, ​but Sutekh just seems to fit with all the clues and style RTD has been setting up with powerful gods. The fact we didnt get a 4th Doctor Tales of the Tardis, and a new episode releases soon, it just seems to make sense. Rewatching the Pyramids of Mars as a whole, all of Sutekhs calling cards seem to be here, with triangular imagery, sand, servants, an interest in the Tardis, the swirling imagery of the time corridor and probably more. @@forcedalek

No, if it's anything the episode only proved that Susan Twist is mixed up in the plot. She may be posessed by Sutekh, but she is not Sutekh. Professor Scarman suffered the same thing before he was killed. You are falling for an old Russel T Davis writting ploy, like when the 9th Doctor thought the Emperor Dalek was responsible for "Bad Wolf" and it later turned out to be Rose. I believe Twist is all over the Universe as someone elses signal for The Doctor to go back to Newton, and change "Mavity" back to "Gravity". Since that temporal foul up the evil beings have been able to enter into reality from wherever they come from.
