I love the mosaic pattern but hate working with tile. Although I have done that. But it still makes a great pattern with paper or fabrics.

As with your PAUSE project, I note the lettering is cut off at the top. Any particular reason?

I get that question a lot. I started doing that about 8 or 9 years ago. My large painting have the letters all running off the top. When planning my Gossip painting I was working on the layout in photoshop and when I moved the text like that I knew instantly that was where it belonged. I'm also a graphic designer and that kind of alignment for Type is common. Not sure what school of design start that as a trend but back in the 1970's when I was an art director it was very common.

Not really. I don't know much about Mod Podge but I use GAC 200 to seal on wood and 900 to print on fabric. Here is how Golden explains: The GACs are useful as mediums or modifiers of acrylic paints. GACs can be used to extend acrylic colors, to regulate transparency, create glazes, increase gloss, reduce viscosity or improve adhesion and film integrity. GAC polymers can also be used for binding pigment solids for various effects and surfaces.

I didn't like the thickness of the inkjet paper. Then I started doing large art with custom printed fabric so I when I do one with words I continue to use the fabric. I love the texture it adds. It's just not the same with paper.

I use Liquitex gel medium. Any gel medium will do. Use the gloss. The matte one dulls the colors.
