It’s really interesting to see an interview with Susanna Hoffs, given that she can be a bit reclusive. In a lot of her interviews, however, she talks a lot about her music and how influential the Bangles are. I think part of the reason why the Bangles initially split was because a lot of the bands publicity was focusing increasingly on her.

There breakup sucks. All 4 went from stardom and putting out great music and videos. To selling very minimal records. Almost no airplay and money comming in. 1989 came in rockin and awesome and then by Jan 1990 the bangles made a huge mistake. Sucks
