It's as simple as this: there is not sufficient capacity to store (and infrastructure to distribute) on a national level when discussing renewable energy. There is nothing to migrate to, yet, so demanding we migrate away from fossil fuels to renewables is pointless because we can't, and we are decades away from being able to. And anyone who thinks we will exchange a 3k energy bill for a £400 one is in cloud cuckoo land. Energy companies exist to make profit, not to provide their consumer base with cheap products. I was under the impression that it was illegal to be on the motorway as a pedestrian unless there is an emergency, so what on earth are law enforcers doing. If you or I stepped on the motorway we would be in the back of a police car in 5 minutes and then charged!!!!. Utterly disgraceful that nothing is done.

"Rolled out in 6 weeks"... Not counting the planning, the manufacturing etc. Literally just sticking solar panels in a field took that 6 weeks. As a builder he should know you can't get anything done in 6 weeks!
