I have been to these kinds of restaurants in Hong Kong, but mostly the children and kids would just tear the train and just take it from the rails, so sometimes not all 3 trains(we have 3 train ride tunnels) can come, at least one needs maintenance, so it's not that great and awesome as it looks like

Theres one similar to this in Chiba, JP. I joked to the staff "Does that train come all the way from Osaka?" Hahaha when “natto” popped up on the screen, I knew you were in for a surprise! I’d assumed you’d tried it before- I haven’t, but I’ve heard that it’s a very strong and acquired taste, and that a lot of people (especially non-Japanese people) don’t like it at all. I hear it’s very good for you, but the strong smell and taste, as well as the weird texture, make it very hard to eat.
@Vidchemy4 жыл бұрын
Lol, yes, natto is an experience the first time one tries it. The fermentation makes the beans slimy like okra. The smell hasn't seemed objectionable to me, and the bean texture seems dry. There are techniques that reduce the stickiness. The first time I tried Natto was at a friend's home in Japan. Her parents got a kick out of my attempt, and they were impressed that a westerner would try it in the first place.
@smileytow19254 жыл бұрын
Ark A.H. Natto is so good for your bones! Lots of calcium. When I was first diagnosed with osteoporosis I tried to eat this! I bought it at my local H Mart in the frozen section, came in little styrofoam containers, with seasoning packets. I ate it with rice and a fried egg for 13 days straight! Figured I needed to get used to it! I never ever did! But I gave it a good try! It’s certainly an acquired taste! I know just what it was when he said fermented beans! 🤣
@allisonneal90604 жыл бұрын
I tried natto for the first time over ten years ago before I had "developed my palate" when my Japanese roommate encouraged me to try it with raw egg and rice. The smell wasn't so bad, but the flavor and the TEXTURE were a shock to my sheltered Western self. I have a personal motto though, "I'll try anything twice, three times if I'm not sure." Lol I'd definitely be willing to give natto maki a shot.
