I also had two extra screws. I double checked each arm and also looked over the instructions rather closely and those extra screws have to be extra

Might as well go ahead and change driveshafts to steel, mine didn't last two runs before they twisted (plastic splined). Nowhere near enough contact area for the torque of the motor

My pin kit was missing a 33mm pin and added an extra 38mm instead.

For the price and user experience it should come with these captured hinge pins. It is unacceptable that this vehicle was unusable for me without this “”””upgrade””””, all the time lost screws or got them super loose even using epoxi glue

I am about to graduate with my BFA. As a present to myself I want a new RC truck. As I have a Slash 2wd and a SCX10II I was thinking monster truck. The Xmaxx has long been a favorite of mine. But watching your build on the Maxx, I don’t know if I should save some cash and do a Maxx build or go all out XMAXX and buy parts and upgrade as they need replacing or do what your doing and Maxx it all at once. Just looking for some experienced advice. Love the channel and ty in advance.

It's been 9 months so I'm sure you've made your choice but I have and love both & I'd honestly just go for the xmaxx if you have the space to run it! It's a beast.
