Every time I watch this, I am reminded of the strong differences between Luke and Scotty. When Scotty proposed, he wanted Laura to hold onto the ring, but Luke wouldn't let her hold onto the ring. Scotty clings, Luke respects not putting that kind of pressure on her and gives her the opportunity to think without that kind of pressure. Rings were very symbolic early in the relationship after the left handed boy, and that is used again here. Nice use in denoting character differences and history of the characters.

A little while ago i saw a gh clip between lulu and scott and they were talking about laura and lulu said to scott that her dad always had her heart and that is a fact,to me luke and laura are a real couple and he never did love tracy as mych as he loves his angel,his gum drop,his darling,his sweet heart and you could see how much these two lovers loved and cared for each other he never showed that with tracy never ever so i wish that tony geary would come back and reunite everyones fav daytime lovers LUKE and LAURA forever.💓💓💓💓💕💕💕💕

It was not really a cigar band... he had a REAL ring made to look like a cigar band... it had 3 stones or something but emulated the original cigar band. It was really pretty. He gave it to her for her birthday.

I don't care what they say that Tracy was his true love and Laura never understood or accepted him. She was there for him and was on the run with him and participated in all the escapades. They were very much in love and nothing like him and Tracy

That's a storyline that I wrote to Frank Valentini in Aug of 2021. That Luke realizes that he really misses and loves Laura and just comes to terms with it after being away. I also wrote the story so that Luke would only have to make one appearance to wrap up the legacy of LnL. Laura would still be a presence in Port Charles but would split time in Beecher's Corner off screen. It is a great story be if I do say so myself. Wish I could get a response. Any suggestions on what else I could do??
