I would say my weakness is gel nails (considered plastic) but they last me 2-3 weeks sometimes longer. I only change because I get tired of the color. The question then comes which is more sustainable. Using regular polish that’s last me 2-3 days before it chips or wear off and I have to redo them. (Constantly using more product)Or do gels myself at home that last me weeks. Ugh.

This is a tricky one! It honestly might be pretty close as far as which option is more sustainable. Doing the gels at home may be the way to go.💚

Have you ever gotten sucked in with an IG/FB ad?

Sooo good! Have to check out the black owned line. Speaking of gels, I use to get my gels all the time before the pandemic but stopped however I found ManiMe, have you heard of them? They are a toxic free stick on gel sheet. Pretty cool 😎

Thank you for this video! How do you clean your reusable cotton pads (for both traditional and non traditional nail polish remover)? I always worried about the water going down the drain

I just toss in the washer. Probably not the "greenest" choice, but I can't worry about everything!
