Sutapa Sikder on Irrfan, parenting Babil & Ayaan: I'd get upset because Irrfan never said I love you

It's Irrfan Khan's birthday today and Bollywood Bubble host Nayandeep Rakshit had met saab's wife Sutapa Sikder for a fulfilling conversation on his life and memories. From discussing their love story to admitting that she would get really upset at Saab for not saying 'I love you' too often. She also fondly remembers him and reveals how he was the best father to their kids Babil and Ayaan and why it's difficult to still come to terms with his death. Apart from that, she opens up on having to single parent the kids now, because of circumstances and how Babil getting trolled was unnecessary. Watch the heartfelt tete a tete right here.

Sutapa Sikder needs to pay little more attention to Babil. A lot of us are disappointed with his unexamined rants on religious discrimination, of all things in Bollywood and India. Particularly in a place where the Khan surname is the top name in Bollywood. I am not even going into the discrimination others have/had to face in a place where the Muslim mafia has been ruling since the days of Haji Mastan. Babil is recommended to check out the exchanges between his father the late Irrfan Khan and some fiery molvis on nation TV. Irrfan's open disregard for the 'only true religion' claim of a certain creed, and it's unfounded supremacist claims. Babil needs to understand that he has Hindu heritage in him, and at one time Irrfan had even agreed to turn Hindu to marry his Hindu wife Sutapa. Babil could study the 60 odd Islamic countries starting with Pakistan, where non Muslims are driven out or marginalized, or are simply unbelievers, under oppressive laws like Hudood.

There is no category of super star or megastar. They are individuals who operate differently. I object when you keep Irrfan among these people because he is a different institution altogether.
