Friend of mine bought a new Jeep Cherokee in the 90’s. Earlier this year rust finally made it un-drivable. Thought for sure he would get another, ended up buying a BMW SUV. He said for the price the BMW was a better deal. Jeep was just way too proud of their stuff.

Stellantis misread the market believing that they could sell high end, highly priced and oversized Jeep Grand Waggoneers and other models. They overpriced the Hornet as well. The new car market is suffering under the weight of high priced vehicles and high interests rates. People who made up the rapidly decreasing middle class simply cannot afford to buy these overpriced vehicles from Jeep, Lincoln and Land Rover.

Calling you out on the 2024 Lincoln Aviator, traded a 2021 Lexus GX460 for it and got a fantastic deal. So far the vehicle has been great with the exception of the city gas mileage which is lower than stated but still better than the V8 Lexus. It booked out at $68000 and is loaded plus it drives really well with lots of extras.

Thusly the term "Stagflation". It's not just vehicle prices that are leaving the majority of the public in despair. As the USD continues to die, the costs of everything will continue to rise like they did in Weimar and Zimbabwe with the creation of $100,000 bills. No matter who is installed in the Oval Office, the consequences for us all are dire. Either of the two "choices" will lead us into a dark depression either by outright physical war or by embargo/economic war. Oil prices will skyrocket making power, fuel and plastic bags ridiculously expensive. Smoke em if you got em.

I think EV is into trouble and not the way around. Imagine the batteries stopped working due to freezing weather outside or battery lifespan/issues and also it’s not enough battery charging stations that support the demand for the average consumers that owned the EV.

If EV batteries are preconditioned (warmed up) prior to driving, there is little degradation to the range in the winter. Most people don't know about preconditioning the large battery so it stays warm during winter driving.

Hi I Disagree with dealers wanting to make deals and or giving discounts Its just Not True ! I went to Four Dealers yesterday and everyone of them got me in on a leader price just to markup the prices in finance.Example a 2020 Jeep Gladiator was marketed for $34,990 but when i went into finance The Fines,Fee’s Administration costs tax’s drove the price to a staggering $42,999 and every dealer did the same tactic.Don’t say they are wanting to sell cars because its not true there still trying to rip people off just in another way that makes car buying difficult to understand..

My wife leased a 2020 aviator and it was a nightmare. Had an exhaust leak from day one. The backup camera worked half the time and the transmission went in limp mode on her. This was all before the vehicle hit 15k miles. Between that and the electrical issues I had with my 18 Ford F150 my household will be staying far away from Ford products for awhile. All those vehicles listed are not known for reliability or resale.

@ if it rained or sometimes random the dash would light up like a Christmas tree and go in limp mode. Went in 3 times and they could never figure it out. The Lincoln was known for problems and that’s what I get for getting into a first year production vehicle

The hornet could’ve been a best seller BUT Dodge overpriced them and buyers saw the payments and didn’t bite. We looked at messing one in late 2023 and were quoted close to $700 per month w a couple months and down …we were like HELL TO THE NO!!! $400 would’ve been more worth it

Some checks or work that could've been done by the owner in the past, can't be done now; like checking the tranny fluid level. Maybe Stellantis should rebadge the Wagoneers as Chryslers? The Wagoneer brand is a bust and they are too expensive to pass for JEEPs. The real problem with these vehicles is terrible gas mileage. Stellantis should have waited for the new Hurricane engine when bringing them to market.

I had the pleasure of driving a Jeep Wagoneer for a week as a rental. Bloated pricing is an understatement. The vehicle is easily a $40k to $50k build, but is stickered at $100k? They are simply not a $100k vehicle, only a complete fool would buy one at that price. I was amazed that there is no button to press to close the liftgate, you have to use the key fob. The auto-start that everyone hates jittered on many occasions. The quality of the Jeep Wagoneer is subpar in the $50k market, so who would buy it at twice the price? Stellantis thinks Americans are all suckers, that Hornet is an Italian car with a Polish engine and an American badge slapped onto it. Dodge buyers have ZERO interest in Italian cars with Polish engines....

I’m driving a 2017 car right now, and with the current economy, I don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon. I haven’t gone this long without a new car in 50 years. With all the regulations and costs on the market these days, I’m priced out. I’m also not interested in going electric-I don’t want to risk an EV fire in my garage. 🤦

Wife's dish washer just sprung a leak, She's ranting and raving. Replaced the clothes dryer couple of months ago. She complains every time she uses it. The dials are different. Will Trump and Elon save us? Will the free stuff crowd win?
