I've experienced the emptiness for many years. I just never thought of the word empty. It was more a sense of the I dissolving. And then not really being there. The personality was still here, but there was not a sense of I with it, just absence of I-ness. So it is interesting to hear it described as emptiness. It's a sense of no one here. Life goes on, but it is not the same. The doing happens. The doing doesn't have a deep root. Things just need to be done to survive, but there is no great urgency. When the personality is seen through, it remains, but it seems to have no roots. Much of the drama that used to be, just doesn't happen. It's a strange place to be, because there is no place. Nice description Suzanne.

"You can have an experience of emptiness, but it can be an emptiness of emptiness, a phrase that's used is cool emptiness. But when it's the true emptiness, your being is dancing, it even goes right through your physical body. Everything is alive again. You are dancing, the emptiness is dancing. Then we go deeper into that love and the dance and the joy, but it settles into something that is quite and very pervasive. There is a love and stillness that is just deepening. When your heard begins to open, just like the mind your being starts to dance. Then everything comes alive." - Adyshanti Im struggling a little bit when you say it's all just neutral emptiness, it sounds cold in some way. Loneliness, emptiness, neutrality, loosing the good and the bad. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, and I apologize if I am, but isn't this emptiness also fully inclusive of the relative, aren't we to fully embody our awakening into our humanity? Aren't things like excitement and emotional love, and emotional joy empty, but also totally full and real? Isn't emptiness form and form emptiness. Sometimes from these videos it can seem like form is just Emptiness, and no one is here and it's very neutral and cold. Coming from the absolute almost negating the relative. Maybe I am misunderstanding, and for that I apologize, just what's in my mind 😊😊 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKHIe3mFftWfl5o

I understand what you’re saying. What I experience (and love) in these talks is that she simply describes what she is experiencing at any given moment, like a very clear and honest mirror of what is unfolding for her. I know what you mean about the “empty emptiness” that some can get stuck in or fixated on. But I don’t find that with her. She never loses her compassion for the challenges of the relative, even as “she” is consumed by the infinite. What I find so valuable is that she continues to reflect what happens in the various “stages,” even as she is “moving “ through them. And what I hear is that, as you suggest, her “emptiness” is getting “fuller” all the time… 🔥🫥⭕️💜

Where does experience and phenomena come from? Where does the aliveness come from? That's what she refers as "emptiness". Emptiness is just a word, and it's the word she uses because the process going on is a process of liberation, of dissolution. It's a "going back" to what was underlying all those illusions. So there's literally an "emptying process" of the forms of the mind, while there's also a very clear awareness of how such aliveness can't be stopped and nobody is producing it. That's the "emptiness", the fact that there's absolutely nothing doing this, that this is unavoidably, that life doesn't need to be produced or created by anything else, that there's absolutely nobody behind this aliveness.

Yes went thru a very intense experience the past few months. Seemed like events that occured earlier in life happened just yesterday. Just be centering. That is all that is needed.

@ 14:30 A sleep-dream, after awakening, can be seen as "one", even though while dreaming it looks just like waking life...the ten thousand things in action doing whatever it does. Because you see that it all happened inside the head, so it couldn't have been "real". But waking life is pretty much the same thing, the ten thousand things doing whatever it does...and I am not separate from that happening, it's happening inside itself, so "I" am part of the dream of everything. The dreamer is unknow...Life itself, whatever that is.

Welcome back… 😎 Yes, perhaps impossible to explain, yet somehow these talks stir a recognition, a leaning in, because something familiar is being heard. Love the description of conditioning/energy/patterns/whatever leaving the body. Little apparent concern here about what might still be lost. With everything that’s been “lost” to this moment, there is literally nothing that I miss. So I can’t imagine why that would start now. 🤨😁 Curious what still holds on, whether there is still some unrecognized mother lode of fear, or if it could be as simple as ancient habits and patterns just moving and resisting as they will? Lovely talk, even if you don’t know why it’s happening. 😜😁💜

I believe what you're describing is happening to me as well. It feels like what people describe as the internal river of life, or flow, or chakra. There have been multiple places internally where the river was blocked by trauma, fear, resistance, unknowing, and every time, in every situation, life was trying to flow through the main points of the internal river, it would be blocked, and the feelings that would come out, you would label as sadness, worry, anxiety, etc. They felt wrong. They felt painful. Now, it seems as though, through our paths of self-inquiry, for some reason, some of these internal points of the river of life that were blocked for so long are becoming unblocked, and whatever feeling comes when the river successfully allows life to flow in, which previously would get blocked, is what you're feeling but can't describe. It's not a bad feeling, it's a feeling you can accept. It's like a liquid passing through in the form of energy or something in your center. The only thing you can describe it as is the feeling of it just going through you and being, spaciously, inside the body, without a struggle and then dissipating. So what you feel was lifted from you were those blockage points, and once they were lifted, you could feel lighter and more spacious (empty-full) because life is flowing through you better. So now you're aware of there being a block of sorts. It's as though, with the river being fully opened, there should be no more effort and struggle, and you can live in perfect unity with the body, mind, soul, and everything.

☯ ♾ ☯ When the soul is starved for nourishment, it lets us know with feelings of emptiness, anxiety, or yearning. There is no need to accept the standards of the world at large. One who loves must learn fear. One who fears must learn love. The thinker must do. The doer must think. The pacifist must fight, the fighter must find peace. If you flow as a river, burn as a fire. If you burn as a furnace, flow as a river. If you fly as a bird, sit firm as a rock. If you sit firmly, then fly as a bird. Be a fire that flows. A rock that flies. Love with fear and fear with love. For we are not fire, not water, not air, not rocks, not thoughts, not deeds, not fear, not love. We are G-dly beings. Our mission on earth is to recognize the void - inside and outside of us - and fill it." Menachem Mendel Schneerson “Traditional theories of human creativity ascribe it to inspiration from a higher source working through the creative individual, who acts as a channel. The same conception underlies the notion of genius; originally the genius was not the person himself but his presiding god or spirit. Why are rituals so conservative? And why do people all over the world believe that through ritual activities they are participating in a process that takes them out of ordinary secular time and somehow brings the past into the present? The idea of morphic resonance provides a natural answer to these questions. Through morphic resonance, ritual really can bring the past into the present. The present performers of the ritual indeed connect with those in the past. The greater the similarity between the way the ritual is performed now and the way it was performed before, the stronger the resonant connection between the past and present participants. Contemporary science is based on the philosophy of materialism, which claims that all reality is material or physical. Matter is merely mind deadened by the development of habit to the point where the breaking up of these habits is very difficult. Cosmologists have come to the conclusion that known kinds of matter and energy constitute only about 4% of the universe. The rest consists of dark matter and dark energy. The nature of 96% of physical reality is literally obscure. Basically, morphic fields are fields of habit, and they've been set up through habits of thought, through habits of activity, and through habits of speech. Most of our culture is habitual. The morphic fields include all kinds of organizing fields...: The organizing fields of animal and human behavior, of social and cultural systems, and of mental activity can all be regarded as morphic fields which contain an inherent memory. The assumption that the laws of nature are eternal is a vestige of the Christian belief system that informed the early postulates of modern science in the seventeenth century. Perhaps the laws of nature have actually evolved along with nature itself, and perhaps they are still evolving. Or perhaps they are not laws at all, but more like habits. The beginning of wisdom, I believe, is our ability to accept an inherent messiness in our explanation of what's going on. Nowhere is it written that human minds should be able to give a full accounting of creation in all dimensions and on all levels. Ludwig Wittgenstein had the idea that philosophy should be what he called "true enough." I think that's a great idea. True enough is as true as can be gotten. The imagination is chaos. New forms are fetched out of it. The creative act is to let down the net of human imagination into the ocean of chaos on which we are suspended and then to attempt to bring out of it ideas. As Terence McKenna observed, “Modern science is based on the principle: ‘Give us one free miracle and we’ll explain the rest.’ The one free miracle is the appearance of all the mass and energy in the universe and all the laws that govern it in a single instant from nothing. Our human dependence on the living processes of the earth was largely forgotten with the growth of industrial civilization. Now we are being forced to remember that Gaia is greater than we are and that the human economy is embedded within the ecology of the biosphere. So, in what sense is Gaia alive? And what difference does it make if we think of her as a living organism, as opposed to an inanimate physical system? We must become aware of the astonishing fact that as a species we are the victims of an instance of traumatic abuse in childhood. As human beings, we once had a symbiotic relationship with the world-girdling intelligence of the planet that was mediated through shamanic plant use. This relationship was disrupted and eventually lost by the progressive climatic drying of the Eurasian and African land masses. If memory within nature sounds mysterious, we should bear in mind that mathematical laws transcending nature are more rather than less so; they are metaphysical rather than physical. The way mathematical laws can exist independently of the evolving universe and at the same time act upon it remains a profound mystery. For those who accept God, this mystery is an aspect of God's relation to the realm of nature; for those who deny God, the mystery is even more obscure: A quasi-mental realm of mathematical laws somehow exists independently of nature, yet not in God, and governs the evolving physical world without itself being physical. We need to respond to our present ecological crisis practically, by making appropriate social, political, economic, and technological changes. We need to look at the attitudes that have led to such devastation of the earth and to find a more harmonious way of living. And those of us who believe in the power of prayer need to pray for forgiveness and guidance. If a wiser and juster human order comes about, if a new harmony develops between humanity and the living world, this would indeed seem like an answer to prayer. What you do, what you say and what you think can influence other people by morphic resonance. There is no immoral filter in morphic resonance, which means that we have to be more careful about what we are thinking if we are concerned about the affect we have on others." What if every thought, feeling, sensation, perception, decision, action, event is pre-scripted? If true, this becomes nothing but a universal cinema produced by a mystery. And this movie is useless without impersonal knowing. It gets even more interesting with contracted knowing. Of course, this is nothing but another rant.

Making me a person that has been ( awaking) but prefer to life in the illusion because I also have a toddler and a partner ( my partner refuses to listen about anything awaking stuff ). And I am not going to live my life empty because my toddler needs interaction, and my husband needs validation that my mind isn't a goner.... but let me tell you being the nothingness has helped me go through this all, my husband almost lost his life last year ( he got a pacemaker now, he is still to have another heart surgery ) my first-born refusing to talk to me, ( it has been almost 2 years since I heard from him ) . 7 months before getting pregnant with my 2 and haft years old, we even lost another baby ( we lost 2 in 2014 before I was awaken ) .... the whole time I was pregnant with Mack, trusting that God or whatever is making the happening wants all this to happen has gotten me through it all and I keep trusting , and I pray because the feeling of talking to the happening makes me happy, what is to be a human if not having feelings ?
