You're right. I experienced liberation or ego freedom last month after more than a decade of self work. That's how I feel, like the world Is a huge playground and I have all these new and exciting friends to play with. It's something to get used to, I'm still adjusting. In this moment, I can welcome the unknown and veil being lifted. Currently, I have the privilege of spending almost daily times with my 105 yr old mum. She is meeting the folks who have passed on almost every day and is admitting on the verge of something about to happen. She told me this week "I don't need this apron when I pass into heaven." I thought of what happened not as the death of true self but a clearing of the emotional body which has been called ego death, dark night of the soul. Tolle calls it the pain body and even therapist are starting to look at how trauma is stored within the body so yes it is purely innocent and a collection of thoughts and feelings that are put there in the ego driven world we have created...judgements, hatred, violence. True beauty is in the pure light of the soul that doesn't need to be anything but what it is and until we create a world without these things this can be the experience the body has its just doesnt experience usually this until their true death but for those that do its a rebirth into that freedom in a body for a time until we depart from this experience and move into the next.

Do you wear a ring. If so, every time you are tormented by your mind rub your ring. Every time you rub your ring train yourself to move your attention to the NOW. Examine your breathing. Examine your surroundings without labeling anything. Examine the tree's move in the wind. Breath in the universe. When you begin to be master of your mind, instead of being its slave, it can no longer torment you. Its as simple as that.

I had my glympse about 3 weeks ago and it lasted a day. After that, I was at home all day and watching non duality videos and implying them and now I am often aware of being aware during the day.
