Also - i did find your theory vs not musicians discussion interesting- glad that Suzzane Vega brought about that reaction 😊

As a musician myself, I didn't mind that tangent at all 🙂 And I sometimes wonder while listening to certain songs what their creative process may have been like, too! Especially when it's something like Rush's 'Jaco's Bladder', with its verse sung in 4/4 over drums and guitar being played in 11/4 and it all fits together perfectly 🤯 😊

She IS a good songwriter (most of the time), but I agree her supporting cast of musicians and producers seem to be a huge part of the appeal of this album. This song was another nice one -- lots of nice harmonic complexity and shifts -- but for me the ending was frustratingly unresolved. I get that she probably wanted it that way so that the final "Lost... lost... lost" bit became the closing, but it still feels like a lost opportunity. And don't apologize for the real world music biz tangents. That's why lots of us are here -- it's how you connect your experience to what these musicians and bands are doing that makes your channel stand out in a good way. That and Kitty-Ho. 😉

Oh, but listen to how she sings the 🎵"And it's gone...gone..."🎵 bit _differently_ than before! It sounds more positive and optimistic, as opposed to the previously monotonous delivery! 🙂

@@robshaw2639 - I had not listened to this album in such a long time that I don't associate an actual song with that title! 😅 At least not by Suzanne! 😆 I do still remember 'Wooden Horse (Kaspar Hauser's Song)', though! One of this album's highlights for me! 😊
